60 Min. Soulful Sunday (All Levels)

Loved this class! The instructor was fantastic. Favorite yoga class I’ve taken from any ClassPass studio so far. I appreciated that the instructor continually encouraged folx to listen to their bodies. Also LOVED that there was a solid 10 minutes of stretching/cooldown/savasana, which most yoga classes try to cram into one minute.

The instructor was great. We really got to work and I felt the class was fairly intense even though it was only a 20min session. I left sweaty and happy! Good variety in terms of planks, crunches, and squats. #classpassinsider

TRX class is a great class. Located in a spacious studio away from the main gym floor. No on lookers staring which I really like. Andre is a fantastic trainer and corrects your posture when needed. He is friendly and also encourages you to get that last rep in and not to quit!

Julia C is great! She kicked my butt and was a normal human. Sometimes at CPY the teachers are so fake and weird but she is so authentic and her gentle vibes really made me appreciate my first class back at CPY in a long time.

    Iyengar Yoga

Tony is a fantastic instructor who has a surgeon-like precise attention to form. Even in a class with many students, he makes many individual adjustments. As other have noted, his style of teaching is a unique counterpoint to the typical hippie-dippy "find your center" and "loving kindness" approach to yoga. There is a place for both, but if you want to emphasize improving your physical capabilities, Tony's class has a lot to offer.

    Ritual Hot Yoga

Very different from a traditional hot yoga class. It’s fast paced, and more of a mix of hot Pilates and hot yoga. The music is a R&B/upbeat jams, and the instructor actually briefly massages you before and after which is a nice touch. I wouldn’t return because I thought the movements were too fast (and I usually do power yoga) to smoothly transition, but it was fun to switch up my routine. I liked the instructor and music. Facilities are fine— very tight cramped space but they made a really good use of it. The basement vibe is a bit claustrophobic too.

Really enjoyed the pacing of this class! And I appreciated that the instructor was receptive to my feedback around (super common in fitness spaces) language about burning off calories after the holidays. More fat-positive fitness, please!

    In-Studio: MOXIE Method

Tanya is simply one of the best instructors in SF. Ive been practicing in the city for over 4 years and always prioritizing practicing with Tanya at Moxie when I can. She does a great job of offering a class for all levels and keeping an eye on safe posture. She is also just the best human, which is icing on the cake!

Studio is quite small but has all the props to use for class in another small room so you don't need to bring anything other than yourself and your water. No lockers but cubbies avail. Izzy used class time wisely and expertly guided us all through various poses, stretches, and breath work. You might hear some traffic noise throughout class since it is on street level separated by a door.

Most who take yoga know the basic poses but we go about with the moves forgetting the correct alignment to these poses. Melissa took time out during class to dissect the alignments to some of the basic poses. Was great to go back to the fundamentals and much appreciated!

Best yoga class ever!! This has been the most traditional style class I had since being in India. Really love the community vibe, the pace of the class, the music and after class the instructor even offered vegan coconut dessert cake. Highly recommend this to anyone. I’ll definetely come back to this class

Virtual Vinyasa All Levels via Zoom

Nice little neighborhood yoga studio. All level is more beginner friendly and its a great, non-intimating place to learn. Small class with good hand on corrections. Advanced practitioners might not find it challenging enough. I dont have kid but I think its wonderful the studio offers free day care during class and really trys to make yoga accessible to all.
