Hot Pilates Sculpt (Big J8-1887 El Camino Real)
see all reviewsI really enjoyed yesterday’s class! I loved the tricep focus, and the EDM music was fun and motivating. A few suggestions: I’d love for the lights to stay dim throughout the entire class, as it creates a more immersive experience. At times, the class can feel a little all over the place, and I think preparing the playlist ahead of time so the music flows with the movements and transitions would help create a smoother rhythm. There was also a period with no music while instructions were being given, and some background music could help maintain the energy. Overall, I really enjoy the classes and appreciate Sam’s openness to feedback :)

see all reviewsI felt super comfortable in this class. I am a first timer here. I haven’t worked out in years, so I appreciated the positive feedback and allowing me to be at my own pace as someone who has exercise-induced migraines. Happy to report I got none after the workout, so that’s a major plus. It gives me hope I can build a stronger body!

see all reviewsI love O2 and all the instructors. It’s a fantastic workout and everyone in the gym is super welcoming, so I hate to complain. But it’s very distracting when some regulars spend a lot of the class chatting loudly instead of working out - especially distracting when that happens during the cool down, like it did in the last class I joined.

Her invitation for impeccable form as best self, irresistible. I also received a warm, energetic welcome from Moses. The space was beautiful. Parking was super easy for an early am class.

The instructor demonstrated every move clearly, which made it easy to follow along and stay confident throughout the workout. Overall, it was a solid class, and I would definitely come back.

see all reviewsVal is an amazing instructor. Knowledgeable and motivating, yet warm and charismatic, he is a natural-born leader. I play hockey but had never done a real hiit workout until my girlfriend invited me to join her for one of his classes. It was hard but he made the time fly by, by playing great music and encouraging us all to have fun with the exercises. He mixes in a lot of free-form cardio (read: dance) and we work at our own pace. I stayed with it for a few classes, slogging it out as my body got used to this whole thing, and before I knew it I started to really look forward to the class. That was two and a half years ago and I have been going twice a week ever since. Total game changer in my life.

see all reviewsA good class- and it felt like a decent workout -although I’m new to these things l. but they really do need to figure out a way to welcome you for your first time at GOAT and to show new people around! Literally say “hello” - to people when they arrive at your class for the first time! Let folks know where the equipment is, what to use and how to check-in! Ask about injuries …. There’s obviously a community there and it seems to be a well appreciated local asset -so that’s great- but honestly welcoming people in the first time/just acknowledging their existence when they visit would make a real difference- rather than just completely ignoring them and letting them figure everything out by themselves!

see all reviewsThis class was great. Super relaxing and effective. I loved Anna, she was great at explaining the postures and demonstrated everything the entire time. Great class for beginners or anybody wanting to compliment their hardcore workout with some good stretching and in this particular class we worked on hip openers. It was a very well-rounded class! I did not want to come out of Shavasana!

see all reviewsVery small cool studio giving garage studio vibes. Everyone seemed open and welcoming! The instructor is super awesome, but if you’re new, you might have to stand around awkward before someone gives you instructions after you walk into the studio as there are no greeters/front desk personnel besides the instructor who’s getting ready for class. I know it says on the description, but having more than one person per pole seems like a difficult class to lead, especially with beginners, since you can’t quite practice without feeling like you’re encroaching on someone else’s space, even though everyone is super nice about it. I think if you wanted to try this class, definitely go with an even number of people or bring one friend with you so you’re sharing a pole with someone you know and are comfortable with! But if you were thinking about maybe going to a pole dancing class but were too scared to, I think this is a great first studio. Very nice, very open, and respectful!!

I’m trying to incorporate more yoga and stretching into my usual routine of Pilates and strength training and her restorative yoga classes have been such a help. She always asks what I’d like to work on, notices where I’m struggling, and how I feel after class. I’m looking forward to seeing how my body changes with consistent yoga classes.

see all reviewsI took an intro aerial silks class with Misha and had such a great experience. She is an amazing instructor who makes the whole class feel fun and welcoming, even if you’re completely new to silks. She’s very thorough with her teaching and takes the time to break everything down clearly, so you actually understand the techniques instead of just being rushed through them. What really stood out is how much she prioritizes safety—she’s always watching closely, correcting form, and making sure everyone feels secure before moving on. At the same time, she keeps the energy light and encouraging, which makes trying something challenging like aerial silks feel a lot less intimidating. I left the class feeling both accomplished and excited to come back. Highly recommend her if you’re thinking about trying intro aerial silks or cirque-style classes.
