see all reviewsKari was a great instructor. It was my first time in any kind of cycle class, so Kari explained the equipment thoroughly and helped me get set up. Her class prompts were clear, and provided a good balance of challenge and encouragement. I would definitely attend again!

Aikido Adults
see all reviewsUnique class with a great instructor! Very good for a newbie (like me) or if you are an experienced practitioner of martial arts. I have never practiced martial arts before this class…so it was challenging. Not in the traditional “sweaty-workout” kind of way. For me the class challenged my mind & was equal parts exercise for my body AND my brain. You will be learning new systems and structures and ways to move your body, so be patient with yourself. Trust me when I say you will not be graceful at it your first go round. However, as complex Aikido is, I still found myself smiling and having fun throughout the class. It was mostly because of the low-stakes, non judge mental atmosphere. Thank you Sensei for being such a patient teacher! So if you’re debating this class or others…just do it. Go check out TKA Dojo yall!! 🤗 I think I’ll add this practice along with Vinyasa (yoga) to my regular gym routine in hopes of improving my proprioception & hand-eye coordination.
