    Barre (in studio)

Milky always teaches a great class but today was FANTASTIC!!! It had a cardio element to it and we never stopped moving. I burned over 500 calories, a record for a barre class for me. Can’t wait to take her class again next week.

Upbeat, engaging instructor, great music. Just the right amount of flows timed nicely with some great full body workouts. Hot room, sweat some good energy out. Highly recommend.

Christina is awesome! She explains the movement and takes time to correct the form. Class consists of yoga stretch warm up, followed by ballet barre exercises, brief section of jumps, stretch again, and savasana finale. Lots of fun!

I really don't understand the bad reviews- it's a nice gym. It isn't the newest but it's definitely not falling apart either. It's clean and has a large variety of equipment. If you're expecting equinox- you'll be disappointed but It's a great gym to go in, do what you have to do, and go home.

    Boot Camp / CrossFit Coach

This was a good class for me. Not HIIT but intervals of various exercises. With weights and without (pushups, ab work, mountain climbers, etc). My gf prefers more cardio style boot camp but I liked this style. Little slower paced, good for Saturday morning.

    Pilates Mat (Level I/II)

The instructor was great. The class was definitely beginner level (which was perfect for me). Some basic understanding of Pilates would help but the instructor will explain the positions in class which helped. Looking forward to doing this one again!

HPF - Hot Power Fusion: Candlelight

My first time at Core Power Yoga, and I’ve seen this chain in every major city. This was a hot yoga class with good instructions and some more descriptive names for the poses (asanas) than the original Sanskrit offers. Sone spirituality but not too much, as is trendy today. I liked this scaled down version. Great workout without too much extra stuff. I would certainly return and hope to visit other CPY locations.
