Sui Sonic Deep (with Sound Bath)
see all reviewsThis yoga class was a true experience. From the decor, the cafe upstairs, and amenities prior to even entering the class. The way the sound bath is integrated in to the flow and the very insightful verbal guidance made this class a breeze to just jump into for an hour away from busy life. Connecting with our breath and body in such a deep way, with so many other souls who came to do the same. The instructor is fantastic. I could go on but overall, I highly recommend this class.

see all reviewsAmazing like always! AJ is such an amazing teacher and is always so welcoming. His voice, energy, music selection and direction have made the breath work enjoyable. I had never taken a class like this before or experienced the state of trance I get in his class. After class I feel either very calm or energized for the day. Love it!! Highly recommend!

see all reviewsJosh is an anatomy nerd in the best way possible. I am new to Astoria and run my own yoga collective. I teach yoga 7 days a week, as well as take classes at least 3 days a week to support my own personal practice. I can’t tell you the last time a yoga class kicked my ass (in the best way possible) & in a way that was guided to get my body into poses in a healthy, non straining way. I was able to surprise myself, break a sweat and have the most delicious shavasana I’ve had in a while. Good job! I will say this class would have been quite a doozy and potentially overwhelming for anyone who does not already have a very very strong personal practice, but I loved it.

I will def be returning!

see all reviewsOne of my favorite yoga instructors ever, and an awesome class — I wouldn’t necessarily call it challenging, but I’ve found plenty of non-challenging yoga classes are just 5 minute pigeons — sometimes I’m in the mood for that, but I loved loved loved how this class prioritized restfulness without sacrificing movement and flow. Other things I loved: - free mat rentals; the GORGEOUS atrium; good music; the choices for hands on instruction and for end of class oils; and maybe I was just fortuitous but the instructor was talking about self affirmation in a way that really stuck with me. All so wonderful, big fan, feel stretched and strengthened! Thanks!

see all reviewsI recently attended a beginner's yoga class 10 am Thursday at Atmananda Yoga International and I must say, it was a wonderful experience, the Atmananda instructor, Sara Ma made me feel at ease right from the start The studio itself had a calming and inviting atmosphere, Sara greeted me with a warm smile and took the time to explain what to expect during the class. The class started with a gentle warm-up, which was perfect for someone like me who is not very flexible. Sara Ma guided us through each pose, providing clear instructions and offering modifications for those who needed them. She also emphasized the importance of proper breathing and mindfulness throughout the practice. By the end of the class, I felt a sense of calm and relaxation that I hadn't experienced in a long time. Overall, I highly recommend Atmananda Yoga International to anyone looking to start their yoga journey.

At the start of the class she always asks how we're feeling and if anything's bothering us, and every time she delivers a custom program that addresses all those concerns. see all reviewsHands down the most effective Pilates workout I’ve EVER done! Ken is so warm, welcoming, and motivating. He repeated positive affirmations during the tough moments and played the best music to get us going. When my form was slipping, he politely helped me adjust. As we ended the class stretching, he came around and spritzed us with fresh rose water ✨ I feel like a million bucks — stronger, mentally and physically. Lastly, Ken and the team are so involved with the Hoboken community on a meaningful level. I love that. Cant wait to make this a regular part of my routine.

see all reviewsVery interesting class, the teacher was so lovely! We were only 8 people and she really helped with postured and to get the alignment right. The class felt more like a workshop, but I can’t remember the last time I stretch this much, or anyone corrected my yoga postures as much which I really loved. Very informative. I wish the class had moved faster and there was less chit chat between the students to make space for some more exercises but otherwise really great!

Initially I wasn’t sure what I was getting into based on the title, I would not return for this meditation class specifically as the ROI on credits did not feel worth it compared to some of the other studios (for 20mins of sitting down) but that’s a very personal opinion.
