see all reviewsLOVED this class and trinity’s energy. I’m not usually a fan of super heated workouts because I find them a little overstimulating, but she made sure not to have us move too quick so we didn’t get exhausted in the heat. I’ll definitely go back for more that was great and I feel so energized after!

see all reviewsJake is an amazing instructor - so welcoming and supportive! He gave really clear cues and made sure we kept coming back to the breath, which I’ve found some more fitness-focused yoga studios lack. The class had a great flow and was the perfect balance between challenging and restorative. I felt so much better after - both in body and mind. The studio itself is a welcoming, clean and peaceful space and the reception team were super lovely and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good yoga class in NYC 👌

see all reviewsIve been doing pilates for a while now but this was my first time taking a heated class. I was intimidated going in and immediately realized that this class is NO JOKE! The studio (beautiful btw) is close to 100° which was definitely overwhelming in the beginning, but by the end of class I felt really, really great. Just be prepared to sweat. A LOT . Eddie's sequence was a good mix of classical mat pilates moves with the standard props. Bonus points that he's funny and animated which definitely helps to keep morale up while laying in a puddle of your own sweat. I liked this class a lot more than I expected- I will definitely be back!

see all reviewsbody nyc is my go to place for Hot26 classes wherever I come to NY and I always look forward to it. Maya is an experienced Hot26 teacher and precise in instructions and timing, but also added personal touch with specific alignment and weaving in life lessons. She was warm and attentive to students- giving personal feedback but also looking after new students . There are few students in the class that needs modifications and Maja was able to hold the space not only with grace but with confident knowledge. I have been practicing Hot26 for years and bode is one of my favourite studios in the world because of the quality of the teachers. Because they have great teachers, there are lots of regular students, creating a great environment to practice - discipline but also warm community. They give you a mat towel and a small towel when you sign up for classes, while mat and bath towels are for rent. This studio is old, but functional . Don’t expect fancy decor, but you come here for the yoga. The cold eucalyptus towel they hand to you after class is a great touch. Front staff is also super welcoming. Bode is best hot studio in NYC if you are looking for proper Hot 26 classes., look no more.

see all reviewsLovely, relatively new, spacious, clean and nicely maintained studio. Really very nice orchestration of challenging, engaging largely accessible sculpt sequences (with a couple of peak poses beyond my practice or goals, fun to take a shot at, nonetheless). After class while organizing belongings prior to departure, was already virtually empty in between classes when upon gently asking a core crew member, they declined studio mat spray usage for personal mat—seemed a bit odd, especially as someone who works at a neighboring studio where this small courtesy would invariably be accommodated, though no biggie regardless.

see all reviewsthe practice is great and the instructor was wonderfully too but just some things to keep in mind: 1. the studio is very cramped, barely enough place to stretch out, 2. it's supposed to be candlelit but the light from outside comes in very strong, 3. while I understand why they want to include advanced poses, those are really difficult to do in a group format and most of were just flailing/not doing anything

see all reviewsThis is my second time taking Marcy’s class and it did not disappoint. Last week, I went in with some hip issues and the sequences helped to relieve them. Today I went with lower back pain and although some sequences were a bit difficult for me to transition through (only due to MY personal restrictions) I felt an immediate difference when standing up. Marcy also provided alternatives for limb placement to better ease through the transitions. Walking to the train and sitting on the way home wasn’t as painful and I felt more relief and mobility. If I could attend every week I would, but my schedule doesn’t allow me to. However, any opportunity I could get to practice under Marcy’s guidance and experienced eye, I will jump on it. Highly recommended. Very knowledgeable and down to earth person. The studio space is also very serene like an oasis away from this crazy world, I fell asleep several times and think I may have snored. !!
