    There’s no in person instructor. An audio recording plays overhead. They kept the few people there pretty spaced out. So half (maybe 5 of us) started on bags while the other 5 on floor. Class is not ideal if you’re not already familiar with the boxing punches, since there won’t be anyone there to correct you.

This class in particular isn’t for me virtually at home - there’s great strength workouts but it involved way more jumping/hopping and room work than I have space for (noisy for apt neighbors).     Amazing! Incredibly challenging. I had to take a 5 minute break! A mixture of calisthenics, fast paced Pilates floor work, boot camp without the weightlifting “break.” Lots of plank jacks, burpees, flutter kicks, pushups and mountain climbers, with no real pauses. Possibly the most difficult class I’ve ever taken, just for the cardio alone. You won’t miss your spinning class. The only suggestion I could make would be to add an arm sequence, maybe with light weights...but I know that goes against the spirit of “no equipment.” So good!!

Rob is truly flawless as an instructor. He’s friendly and precise and never misses a beat.     Fantastic class, fun and time flew by because non stop movement! Instructor was upbeat and encouraging and I liked her music. I could see why other people said it’s confusing but if you are work out regularly and are familiar with different exercises it’s not that hard to keep up. Way better than their regular barre class which I find slow and not that challenging and use as a rest day workout. Also this studio was lovely and the room was nice and warm which is better for this type of excercise.

    Merav gave a great class! It was a good mix of restorative work and Pilates strength training. I went in to class today super sore from kickboxing yesterday, feeling out muscularly out of sorts & as though I couldn’t stand up straight. Her clear instruction & expert sequencing brought me back life! I wouldn’t say she’s Classical Pilates but she’s not strictly contemporary either. Everything she taught made sense, was useful and productive.

Time of day is weird to me (11:15a) I randomly had a day off so I could take this class which I really enjoyed but is more of a senior citizen crowd. Wish it was offered at more assessable times.
