see all reviewsJill is a really great instructor! The class is physically challenging but it isn’t too challenging to learn the boxing moves. I like the mixture of boxing with other aerobic and anaerobic exercise. My only complaint is the space is kind of cramped by the benches side of the room, I felt like the studio could be set up better for working out in a group and as a just 5’8” person i felt like i was bumping into things. All in all, it’s a really great idea for a workout class, it’s perfect for a full body workout and it’s fun and easy to learn and to follow.

see all reviewsFlow with Mikee is fantastic! I’ve been doing yoga for years & have gone to dozens of studios in NY & BK. He’s a true gem! Highly recommend. My only critic is the studio itself... I find the Crunch studio incredibly cold for its yoga classes. To the point of being uncomfortable. I really wish they would turn off the air & fans for the yoga classes.

Front desk staff was super nice and helpful, and even cheerful which was extra noticeable bc it was snowstorm and they were right by the door. The locker room lockers require a padlock but there are lockers right outside the locker room with keypad locks. Good array of equipment and everything was clean.

My only minus is that the music and speakers are so loud that my ears ring after class. Maybe they should supply single use earplugs they do at some other studios?

I had to modify some of the exercises due to knee issues, but I was able to do it at my own pace and still break a sweat! He mentioned if we bring a friend their first class is free, and we also get a free personal training session. I’ve already booked this class again for next week, and have the PT session right after.

see all reviewsGreat cardio and kickboxing class. Class stared off with an intense 10 min of straight body weight cardio and shadow boxing (jump squats, burpees, lunges, jumping jacks, mountain climbers etc). Then class was split in half. Half doing standard circuits (dumbbell renegade rows, box jumps and tricep dips, treadmill, rope pulls, med ball slams) whole the other half of class did different bag work combination stations- one station being with the instructor. Class ended with sit ups and dumbbell shadow boxing/lifts/curls.

see all reviewsI thought I was in shape until this class. I usually work out 3 days a week doing HIIT classes, but this one kicked by butt. Super fast paced class with no breaks.! Expect to do high reps counts of exercises like lunges, squats, deadlifts, rows, tricep extensions etc with weights in hand and cardio bursts of jumping jacks, high knees, burpees, skiers and squat jumps. FYI, no locks for lockers so you have to bring your own or find a place to stash it in the workout studio room. Class size tonight was around 25 people.

see all reviewsThis boxing class is very legit and a great bargain on ClassPass. I did notice John wrapped several students hands, which they dont do at a lot of boxing places, so points for individualized attention. The space isnt huge, but is perfectly sized to accommodate twelve people. I liked how he referred to the punches by number versus name. The only drawback was that there was no stretch at the conclusion of class. However, thats easily remedied at home, or they have open floor space to stretch as well.
