see all reviewsThis class was incredible! This teacher is out of this world - one of the best that I’ve taken in LA. I’ve been taking hot yoga for 12 years now. She was so kind and warm from check in, in her class she wasn’t afraid to have personality & stay true to what yoga really is. Thank you for not being a robot. I can’t explain to you how much I love her energy. She is extremely knowledgeable, dedicated and experienced in her craft. Give this lady a raise. Her and kristian are my favs at modo! ✨✨

see all reviewsIt was kind of hard to hear the instructor, I wish they’d use a microphone or turn the music down because it sounded like she had some interesting things to say. Mollie was friendly. I wish we did more neck/shoulder stretches. The music was kind of depressing at times, I’ve noticed this in other classes too. I get the vibe they’re trying to create but there is more positive/upbeat yoga music too. I like how the blocks are sturdy
Modo Yoga LA is a socially and environmentally conscious hot yoga studio with locations…sweat flow
see all reviewsIt was perfect. My first time back in a long while and you could tell she was considerate of newbies in the heat. Sometimes it feels like the flow can be a level 3 class, but this felt more like a level 1 intro.

see all reviewsInteresting class. It was definitely challenging but mainly because poses were held for so long. It was an extremely slow flow. There wasn’t much as far as learning advanced poses but I liked how he left room for people to explore what they wanted. He had a nice calm and accepting energy. The other advanced classes I’ve taken at this studio were a totally different vibe so I think it’s nice to try both.

see all reviewsChelle is by far my favorite instructor! Amazing attitude, music, technique, instruction - I could go on…. I also appreciate that she is aware of the room and considerate of people in class. She nicely reminds people to take this time for themselves and politely asks that people leave their phones at the door and is mindful when people do not do so to ask them again which allows all the other people to enjoy class, distraction free. If I could clone a million Chelle’s I would. Well, maybe not because then it just wouldn’t be the same. Either way, she’s fantastic! 🤍

The flow was slower paced than I am used to, I enjoyed, just a different pace than let’s say corepower which is a bit quicker. Just for informational purposes no criticism. The room was 100 degrees and will definitely make you sweat. I will be back

see all reviewsIt was a great class and Nicoal taught a good flow. I adore this studio and the community that attends. But something you should know is that their hot yoga is only 88-90 degrees. I know that would seem hot but it is not compared to other studios. If you prefer to have a good class with not having an actually hot room, then you will like it. Personally, I prefer the room to be much hotter.

see all reviewsI needed someone to drive me home after this class lol. I think I feel asleep in every pose. Magical. Loved her voice and the pacing. Def recommend this class and will be back!

see all reviewsLoved the class and instructor! The girl beside me did her own thing the entire time (I think she wanted a heated gym) and wasn’t following the instructor / rest of class, which was distracting. Hoping someone mentioned this to her that movement in the community is important. Overall, when people are not self aware, what can you do but keep flowing! Will still come to class despite today’s challenge to stay present on my personal mat.

You go through the hum drum of life then something random comes up, like taking a yoga class this Thursday, why not? and all of a sudden, you’re given the opportunity to try something new and then- your childlike wonder returns. You feel unstoppable. you can do anything. You begin to embrace failure as a means to success. This is the potential of this class. 10/10 would recommend.

see all reviewsSuper friendly instructor and she stayed to chat with me to meet me which was really nice. The pace was great for the flow and restore class, as I was just getting back into yoga again and needed to get used to the hot room. It was seriously hot. I sweat a lot, which is great. Don’t forget to bring your own towel. Anyone new to hot yoga should know not to be afraid to take breaks when you need it. The darkened room with candles helps.. All in all, great small friendly studio in my neighborhood and I’ll be back.

I think I have to come back to this location when it’s colder outside because - I know it is supposed to be heated - but the last couple times I went it was beyond too hot.
