Zach’s class is the bombbbbbbbbbbbb. Best for advanced. Don’t take it if you’re a first timer. It just wouldn’t make sense. His class is like solid core- maybe even tougher. The rest of the instructors are like Pilates 101 rookies compared to Zach. Wish he taught more classes :(

No one’s better than Jay. End of story. He gets you sweating within the first few minutes + keeps those slow twitch muscles burning throughout class. Quick transitions, minimal downtime, no BS. I know ppl complain about his attitude, but I honestly find his comments hilarious + pretty damn entertaining. Definitely Don’t take him if you’re a newbie or want easy. He ain’t it!

Xiomara is an awesome teacher!!! I had an injury and so did another student and she tailored things that gave us a great workout without further injury - ie - she gives great cues and really understands the body - most teachers ask about your injury (if at all) and then forget about it for the rest of class- phenomenal class.

Great workout, sleek studio, awesome instructor! I’ve done megaformer classes at other places and was a bit intimidated by the reviews of solidcore, but Haly went through a friendly overview of the machine before class and gave exceptionally clear cues throughout the workout with positivity as she cheered on us on. Couldn’t ask for a better introduction to solidcore or a better workout on a megaformer.

Very nice venue. super clean and cute. everything seems new. There are no appropiate changing rooms, and no showers (lets agree that no one sweats a lot at a Pilates class though) Class was very pleasent and well taught. the fact that we were only 5 made it great. Im not a fam of Pilates as it is on the weaker side of the workout for me, but for those who are into it i highly recommend.

    Mixed Level Reformer Class

Amazing, as always. Anne Pae is the best. Not only is her knowledge of physiology truly expert, but on top of that, she really cares about her students and starts class by asking what they need. I feel kind of sheepish because I have no attention span for the incredibly focused classes at Pilates Reforming NY, which are the highest quality Ive found in the city, so I go and take intense bootcamp and HIIT and megaformer classes to feel competitive and hardcore. And then I inevitably limp back to Anne with injuries and muscle imbalances that she notices and addresses on the spot. I showed up to class today with knees that are so stiff and painful that even walking and bending has been uncomfortable, and Anne put together a series that stretched and strengthened all the muscles Ive been neglecting from my feet to my hips that connect and support the knees to save them from strain. And my knees are already so much better. To say Im grateful is an understatement. Anne is a hero!

Overall good exercises and sequence but I wouldve liked it better if Shareal had given more cues about breath or alignment or imagery about how to do the exercises. Just counting (sometimes too quickly for the time it took for some in the class to actually do the exercise) and saying the exercises isnt really teaching. I also wouldve preferred to use the springs on the Cadillac instead of just doing mat exercises for the glute sequence.

Christina was awesome and so was the class. It was a super small class so lots of individual attention. This isnt a typical HIIT class but more structured like an actual OCR race. We did obstacle stuff like monkey bars and rope climbs and farmer carries interspersed with runs. I was wheezing during the runs, and my last run pretty much turned into a walk. We worked a lot on technique and Christina was amazing with cues. Im not training for a race or anything but it really pushed me more than other HIIT workouts Ive done.

I found Erica to be very knowledgeable and really had an understanding of the body and how every move was suppose to work each muscle group. It was a solid class although not something that I would say was exceptionally challenging. This was my second class with Brandon and he was amazing. He is very through, patient and detail oriented. His knowledge and experience extends beyond performing the workout but rather the effect and benefits the exercise has on the body. I highly recommend this studio and more importantly taking classes with Brandon.

    Core Pilates Foam Roller

The class is less intense than your usual pilates reformer class, but we did a good amount of core exercises. The rollers really do help you stretch out your hamstrings and give you proper alignments. Andrea went around and gave us minor adjustments to help us stretch better which I appreciated!
