    Reformer All Levels (Amani Room)

First time with ariana. She has a very kind sweet quiet demeanor. Challenging class with modifications for more advanced and beginners. She did a lot of individual adjustments. Suggestion to owner please open a studio in BK! Clinton hill / fort greene has a huge lack in classical pilates!

    Pilates Reformer Class

This was a very good class. There were 11 students in the reformer class and the instructor Jennifer was still able to keep an eye on all of us. She was very kind to newcomers. A good challenging class.

What a great experience!!! So clean, ton of amenities, plenty of space throughout the gym, followed all Covid guidelines, I felt very safe + clean! 100/10 recommend. Mario the GM was best - so friendly, welcoming and incredibly personable. 100% coming back or even getting a membership - they had great specials

First time in the studio, and it was a great experience. I love how doable the poses are yet the challenge comes thru the fast paced transition on each pose. It was a good sweat!! Also appreciate Anthony’s assist.

    Pilates Open Level Machines Class

Great classical class with lots of stretching. Real ones who understand classical pilates - small, slow movements while utilizing core and stabilizing pelvis - will enjoy this class. If you want someone to yell at you while burning out your glutes (and probably using the wrong muscles), I’d try somewhere like solidcore or BodyRok.

    SLT - All Levels

The instructor was great, offered instructions and adjustments which were very helpful for someone new to using this kind of machine. If you are new, I would definitely recommend getting to the class early to have them show you how to use the machine before class. The class was definitely difficult - I’d love to try it again now that I understand the machine/flow of class more. #classpassinsider

    Reformer/Tower

I love that they really pay attention to your form and how you’re performing movements overall. In a room full of other people I still felt cared for and felt very personalized. Since the class didn’t indicate a particular focus on muscle group, would have loved for it to be a bit more full body rather than majority upper body-focused but was still a great workout nonetheless. Made me feel really welcome and one of the best Pilates studios I’ve been to in the city.

I’ve taken this class a few times and I’m starting to really enjoy it more than I thought I would! Erika is a great instructor - her personality is so fun and effervescent and she leads a great class that is suitable for ALL levels. She gives more advanced participants the freedom to branch out and do their own variations while ensuring beginners have proper form and detailed instruction. Great class all around!

    Reformer + Tower

Haven’t been to core in many years. moved recently and saw them back on classpass live. I think they reduced the studio space by half. Still very well stocked classical pilates studio. Anna was subbing class. She is a great classical instructor. Very articulate. 30/30 reformer / tower. nice paced. i don’t love the leather/ wood handle reformers as they hurt a bit. i love that they don’t force you to wear socks which is how pilates should be done!
