It was my first time and I had no idea what to expect. The receptionists were very friendly and welcoming and gave me a tour and instructions. The workout itself was great. Shannon went over all the moves, but there are screens that demonstrate them too as well as spell out the patterns. Shannon was awesome and made everyone feel comfortable, encouraging us by name. Awesome gym!

Great class as usual! I'm still getting used to the one minute pushes and those double plank pushups were killer! I always leave this class drained but mentally feeling so good

    Classic (45 Mins)

Clean, well-maintained studio, and everyone working there was friendly and welcoming. Great class with great music, and I appreciated how the instructor gave us options to stay in the saddle or out throughout class. I've taken classes at other studios where you're out in third the whole time, and it gets boring. COVID - wise, I felt very safe here. Masks are required in the common areas, and proof of vaccination is required to take off your mask once you're on the bike. The bikes are also well-spaced, so you're not too close to other riders. I'll definitely return for more classes here.

Clair was a great teacher, the workout was very thorough. Next time it would be great if she included other options for planks because I was just not feeling it today (hung over done the night before). I really appreciated the sweatiness of the series. I felt much better after I left.

Fast-paced and challenging class, but I didn't have any issues keeping up, because Taft explains everything so well. Really liked the combinations of movements. Would have liked a little bit more time for stretching at the end, but overall I really liked the class.

HPF - Hot Power Fusion: Candlelight

My first time at Core Power Yoga, and Ive seen this chain in every major city. This was a hot yoga class with good instructions and some more descriptive names for the poses (asanas) than the original Sanskrit offers. Sone spirituality but not too much, as is trendy today. I liked this scaled down version. Great workout without too much extra stuff. I would certainly return and hope to visit other CPY locations.

    45 mins- Indoor Cycling

Bonnie is great at coordinating the beat with the RPMs. She varies the tension and speed with the music, builds in rest, and does not go overboard like some instructors (like 120 RPMs out of the saddle). She has great energy and is really encouraging!

    Gym Time

I really don't understand the bad reviews- it's a nice gym. It isn't the newest but it's definitely not falling apart either. It's clean and has a large variety of equipment. If you're expecting equinox- you'll be disappointed but It's a great gym to go in, do what you have to do, and go home.
