see all reviewsLove the beginner offering! I’ve put off visiting solidcore vs. my usual reformer Pilates because everyone says it is incredibly intense. After attending this session, I feel WAY more comfortable with the specific class structure and the knowledge that the studio is grounded in principles of safe form and personal challenge. Amelia was awesome - super welcoming to newbies and provided helpful class format and form cues throughout class.

Kayla was great with providing tall person modifications (something I’ve noticed lacking in other reformer studios) and form corrections throughout class. Class was still sculpt focused, with the addition of a bit of jump board and a short cardio circuit.

see all reviewsHonestly this is my favorite class at Bodyrok! It’s the only megaformer class I can find in NYC to incorporate the jump board, which I really takes the workout up a notch. My only gripe with BodyRok in general is that there aren’t as many instructions on form, but Kristen was an exception. Having had rotator cuff surgery and tears in both shoulders, I really appreciated the options offered to modify each position to what works best for my body. Great class!

Music wasn’t great and no warm up or cool down but it was a great and effective workout.

see all reviewsI love that they really pay attention to your form and how you’re performing movements overall. In a room full of other people I still felt cared for and felt very personalized. Since the class didn’t indicate a particular focus on muscle group, would have loved for it to be a bit more full body rather than majority upper body-focused but was still a great workout nonetheless. Made me feel really welcome and one of the best Pilates studios I’ve been to in the city.

Anna was subbing class. She is a great classical instructor. Very articulate. 30/30 reformer / tower. nice paced. i don’t love the leather/ wood handle reformers as they hurt a bit. i love that they don’t force you to wear socks which is how pilates should be done!

Today was one of those days where things were going wrong, my schedule got thrown off by others, etc and I almost canceled. I even came to class with the idea that I would check in so I didn't have to pay the cancellation fee haha and then I would go home. The minute I saw her smiling face I thought I can't do this, she is too good. I stayed for the class and I'm so glad I did! Nobody better than Kine!! ❤️❤️

By the end of the first round I questioned my existence. Going into the 2nd round of each segment I didn’t care for gratitude, I just had questions that I couldn’t answer, like why? How? When? Lol! This class summoned the complacent inner athlete in me to the next level. If you think you have a strong mind, strong abs, legs, glutes and so on then take this class. If you want to get be challenged, while getting stronger mentally and physically then take this class. My muscle fibers were shaking, my pores cried more river then Justin Timberlake, even my calves were sweating! Saturday mornings are rough but halfway through the class I felt energized. By the end of class I was ready to go back into the world and be the best version of myself. Movement is the best medicine and this class encompassed all the beauty and good. 60 minutes can change the trajectory of your day, perhaps even your life. Awesome class!!!

see all reviewsI thought I was in shape until this class. I usually work out 3 days a week doing HIIT classes, but this one kicked by butt. Super fast paced class with no breaks.! Expect to do high reps counts of exercises like lunges, squats, deadlifts, rows, tricep extensions etc with weights in hand and cardio bursts of jumping jacks, high knees, burpees, skiers and squat jumps. FYI, no locks for lockers so you have to bring your own or find a place to stash it in the workout studio room. Class size tonight was around 25 people.
