Awesome class! I’m a regular, but this was my first time with Courtney and most of her exercises were new to me. The burn was so good while manageable. Will be booking more classes with her for sure!

    .Nofar Method Flatiron Pilates Class

Kine’s class was exactly why I came to NoFar Method 2 years ago for the burn and shakes ⭐️🔥👏🏽 Kine was very attentive to everybody in the class! She did add a lot of challenging moves for the more advanced Pilates girlies. Honestly, I’ve done this class many times but they always change it up so I’m always burning and shaking. Thanks again!

CORE & CARDIO Sculpt Full Body

Honestly this is my favorite class at Bodyrok! It’s the only megaformer class I can find in NYC to incorporate the jump board, which I really takes the workout up a notch. My only gripe with BodyRok in general is that there aren’t as many instructions on form, but Kristen was an exception. Having had rotator cuff surgery and tears in both shoulders, I really appreciated the options offered to modify each position to what works best for my body. Great class!

I think that it would be good if they switched up the moves a bit more - esp for ‘six packs and backs’ and did more creative combination Pilates type moves… lunges are fine but sometimes classes really tend to overwork the legs. I live in a 6 story walk up. I get enough legs!

    Chisel

She was so kind and had great energy but she just needs a bit more confidence! It was somewhat confusing when she would say “well you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to” during the workouts so I couldn’t keep track of reps. Liked the mix of yoga in it!

    Pilates Open Level Machines Class

Great classical class with lots of stretching. Real ones who understand classical pilates - small, slow movements while utilizing core and stabilizing pelvis - will enjoy this class. If you want someone to yell at you while burning out your glutes (and probably using the wrong muscles), I’d try somewhere like solidcore or BodyRok.

The instructor was great, offered instructions and adjustments which were very helpful for someone new to using this kind of machine. If you are new, I would definitely recommend getting to the class early to have them show you how to use the machine before class. The class was definitely difficult - I’d love to try it again now that I understand the machine/flow of class more. #classpassinsider

I love that they really pay attention to your form and how you’re performing movements overall. In a room full of other people I still felt cared for and felt very personalized. Since the class didn’t indicate a particular focus on muscle group, would have loved for it to be a bit more full body rather than majority upper body-focused but was still a great workout nonetheless. Made me feel really welcome and one of the best Pilates studios I’ve been to in the city.

I thought I was in shape until this class. I usually work out 3 days a week doing HIIT classes, but this one kicked by butt. Super fast paced class with no breaks.! Expect to do high reps counts of exercises like lunges, squats, deadlifts, rows, tricep extensions etc with weights in hand and cardio bursts of jumping jacks, high knees, burpees, skiers and squat jumps. FYI, no locks for lockers so you have to bring your own or find a place to stash it in the workout studio room. Class size tonight was around 25 people.

Haven’t been to core in many years. moved recently and saw them back on classpass live. I think they reduced the studio space by half. Still very well stocked classical pilates studio. Anna was subbing class. She is a great classical instructor. Very articulate. 30/30 reformer / tower. nice paced. i don’t love the leather/ wood handle reformers as they hurt a bit. i love that they don’t force you to wear socks which is how pilates should be done!

Sub teacher tonight- class was 6 stations-2 exercises at each, doing each exercise at the station twice (45 seconds on 15 seconds break) followed by a transition workout (planks, skaters, squat jumps) to the next station. Music wasn’t great and no warm up or cool down but it was a great and effective workout.

Such a fantastic session with Dr. Maria Muto! She did a careful evaluation of all my issues, and helped me figure out the root of my longtime back pain and posture issues. It was my first time trying Pilates and it couldn’t have been better! The class is very easy to follow and every position/movement are explained throughout. We were only three in the class so the teacher was able to communicate with us individually and correct the movements, if needed - which as a newbie I really appreciated. Despite being a beginner level I still felt I put in a good workout, and I definitely felt the challenge with the hardest exercises. Definitely recommend!
