The class was great! It was my first time at the studio and everything from check-in to wiping down the mats was straightforward. I didn’t know the studio uses an incense?/candle? from reading the class descriptions on both classpass and the website, though, so if you’re like me and are sensitive to these things, just something to keep in mind!

    Some Like it Hot

Really nice practice and music, with a great instructor. Typical vinyasa flows, lots of core/bridge poses and a shavasana with cold (I think eucalyptus or lavender?) towels. Up one flight of stairs to get in, the studio is clean and gorgeous with a large room and low lighting for the class. There are pre-assigned spots for mats - you can't choose your space via ClassPass, I was stuck by the door which I didn't love. But also for your first class they give a free mat plus two towels for your face and mat. The temperature felt hotter in the room than other similar studios I've been to, but they opened the door a lot.

    SCULPT

Angelica is an amazing teacher! She explained everything very thoroughly, gave clear options for modifications, has a calm, grounded voice, and structured a very well balanced class. This is definitely a challenging yet empowering class that’s NOT high intensity/bootcamp- like where the instructor is basically yelling at you. SO refreshing to do a strength class that leaves you refreshed and is not overwhelming.
