The class was challenging. They push you to give it you all. Chris walks around to make sure you are doing the exercises correctly. And the music hypes you up. No need for headphones. Bring water and a towel, you will definitely need both. So, don't worry about being a newbie. I recommend pre-ordering your smoothie so you have it after class. Recommend 10/10

    Mobility Flow (warm)

First off, it’s bonkers how many excellent yoga teachers and classes there are at Epic. With that said, I’ve been practicing yoga on and off for 15 years, and Natalie is the most creative and innovative teacher I’ve come across. She designs unique and challenging mobility classes where you’re giving loads of attention to a specific muscle group each week. FYI- students absolutely do need to get comfortable with being uncomfortable (which she’s pretty transparent about). With going consistently, the gains I’ve witnessed in my overall mobility and strength over these past few months are truly unparalleled- especially my hip mobility. Natalie emphasizes community care in her teaching, and often uses her playlists and exercises to illustrate how yoga is rooted in social justice. She takes time to get to know her students and offers modifications throughout class, which is really helpful when deep diving into a specific muscle group for an extended period of time. If you’re okay with regularly being challenged both mentally and physically in your practice, then her classes are the way to go.

    CUT SEVEN / 60min

Really good workout, challenging but manageable - they didn’t really offer modifications but it was pretty easy to figure some out if you needed. Instructors were nice. The gates only opened five minutes beforehand. It is partially outside so beware in the heat. Music was loud but not at the level of some other places, and they turned it down to give instructions which I appreciated.

I really like this studio. It took me a few visits to understand the format, but they do a great job explaining the exercises. Stephanie is a great instructor who is really helpful with form.

    Heavy Bag H.I.T. : Kickboxing

Instructor was well organized and intentional. Workout had a good structure and combination of punchbag work with conditioning. Facilities were super clean with lots of space, nice locker rooms (with showers) and ability to borrow gloves, towels, and fill up water.

Sophie is a fun and experienced instructor! She's great at responding to questions. I appreciate the free water, towels, and snacks! Be aware that there's not a conspicuous sign from the sidewalk and there is no elevator, so give yourself plenty of time to get to class and not be late! There is a shower to freshen up after class which is a great amenity!

    Sports Massage - 90 (+ 15 minutes recovery time)

Highly recommend Dominic! Went on Sunday and could tell he is a highly trained professional. He was able to find some sore spots I didnt know I had, incorporated multiple techniques including a few small thai massage poses and listened well to my pressure preferences. And just a very friendly experience :)
