You break up the typical class sections with portions of a yoga flow but I think I’d rather just do full on yoga or full on barre. She made sure to check each students movements so that they had correct posture etc. She’s very cognizant of how each student is doing and gives personalized adjustments as class goes on. I love how she gives each student the materials (like the ball or ring) and cleaning bottle/cloth at the end of class instead of making each student grab it themselves - obviously this is something we can do on our own, but she’s so sweet for doing it for us.

Don’t worry though - it isn’t intimidating, welcoming to all ages and levels, and the studio is grand - it is in a downstairs area. The people are really welcoming and friendly - the lovely young dancer was especially polite and courteous.

I did not expect handstands in this level, but it was not a problem that I couldn’t do that part. It was good to try. But I was expecting a more basic flow at this level, that’s why I chose it.
