Jonathan really did such an incredible job of hyping everyone up, giving modifications, and walked around to correct folks’ forms throughout the exercises. I’m a beginner to Reformer Pilates and I felt like this was one of the more accessible classes I have tried. I also really liked that a majority of the exercises were standing on the reformer or on your knees — a lot of the classes I’ve tried in the city are mostly laying on your back the entire time and I felt like I got more of a workout with this class. The class starts with warm-up and ends with a cool down with a center section that builds up to choreography with a different theme every week. It’s a blend of fitness meets dance and seems very beginner friendly.
