    Great workout that’s half cardio on the treadmill (but they keep it interesting with interval training, I’m not a runner and I find it engaging and fun) and half strength training with body weight and free weights on the floor/bench. A true full body workout, fast paced, gets you sweaty, but you can also adjust to your level and no pressure to do the same pace as others. Dark room with clubby lighting and music but felt very welcoming to a first timer, didn’t give me cliquey vibes like some studios.

Things like goblet squats, curtesy lunges, med ball slams and weighted step ups. Room has screens with the exercises so felt pretty organized. Room has a countdown clock as well, but it wasn’t working today. Instructor was a bit hard to hear but he had great energy nonetheless.

    This was one of Francarlos greatest classes yet! This workout was super refined and specific to the targeted muscle groups using strategic cyclic reps of weights, cardio, natural body weight and some Pilates infusion. He offered multiple modifications so the class was inclusive to all abilities/ages. He stopped to physically demonstrate proper form for deadlifts and squats which I noticed helped people out/ boosted confidence. This is an instructor who doesn’t tell you to simply do something, but shows you how to do it first. Highly recommend this friendly class.

    Bret is very friendly and kind and did give a quick overview of the movements. However this class is best suited for experienced athletes. This gym posts all the workouts on their Instagram, so check that out in advance to see if you’d be comfortable. I’ve been doing clean/snatches for a decade but still had to hustle to keep up with the sequence of 3 reps every minute and adding weight each round (for 10 min). Need to load the bar and set up super quickly!!

Probably because it was a mix of how loud the volume was and also that every song had lyrics. So was getting a bit frustrated trying to decode what she was saying amongst whomever was singing in the background.
