see all reviewsI love barre centric and am excited to see as they transition to barre 3. Unfortunately this class with Rachel specifically is not one I’d recommend. I’ve been coming for over a year now and love all the other instructors. I just don’t think the 6am is the best fit for Rachel. When she is off and someone else fills in the class is great. I just find Rachel to be unprofessional and lacking the same energy and vibe the other instructors have. Each time she has her phone out and references the choreo from her phone during class. It also doesn’t seem that she follows the weekly choreo based off other classes I’ve attended that week. In previous xpress classes the routine is only slightly modified the choreo is pretty much the same just less stretching. With Rachel’s class it seems to differ from the weekly choreo. I have tried several weeks before writing a review on Rachel as I didn’t want to judge or possibly if she was having an off week. But this is how she is every class is with her phone out, the music doesn’t flow as well, and just lacking the same energy the other instructors have. It seems as this class is a burden to her. I personally will be taking a rest day on Wednesday mornings unless Rachel is off that week and a different instructor is filling in.

see all reviewsThis class was so much fun! There were only 2 people in class today and I am thankful for that so Terrie could slow down and really introduce us to step. I have never done it before and it was so much more challenging than I expected and an amazing cardio workout! Lots of choreography to keep up with, but I’m sure after a few more classes I will get the hang of it. She even ended with a little bit of boxing on the bags which was a nice spin for the last few minutes. I will definitely be back. Thanks for a great workout Terrie!

Cecelia was very helpful in getting me reacquainted with the bike settings and “choreography”. She had a great upbeat, positive attitude and a good playlist of music which is imperative for a successful spin class. The bike was very comfortable and easy to use compared to others I’ve been on before. I also liked that the studio is a bit smaller so the class was not very large and more personal. I love that it was a combo class starting with cardio and finishing with some light weights and stretching. I definitely will be returning!
