    Pilates Equipment - Cardio Jumpboard

Very thoughtful instructor. Jumpboard was a nice cardio variation of Reformer. This is not unique to this instructor but my last several classes here the instructors did almost all of the exercises on a machine too; the downside is they’re not paying attention to our form and correcting.

This was a little more advanced than elementary but it was a good time anyway and the instructor and other dancers were very nice and patient

    Pilates Sculpt - Heated

One of the best mat classes I’ve taken in a long time (I’m a former instructor). Good cueing and use of props and Alyssa actually corrected our form which no one does anymore.

    Open Beginner Intermediate Ballet

I really enjoyed my experience at Northeast arts! I took the open beginner intermediate class after a few months away from dance. The formatting of the class was pretty standard. Really what stood out most about this class was the warm environment that Avery (the instructor) and the other dancers taking the class create. I have taken many classes at multiple studios but this is the first ballet class I have taken where I felt completely comfortable, relaxed and present. The class was approachable and fun! I recommend to anyone looking for a studio that has great quality instruction and provides a welcoming atmosphere.

Today was fantastic as Arko subbed for Lindsay and I never would get a chance to take his class because it’s on Saturday. He’s fantastic and the energy is non stop. Love coming here!

    Level 1 (Beginner) Ballet

Harry's class is great! The teacher builds the difficulty level gradually over multiple weeks. for example, the chasse tour jéte, which is a common step in grand allegro combinations. The teacher started with a very slow chasse and one fouttee, then progresses to chasse with two fouttee, then chasse with one fouttee and one tour jéte. This makes the steps feel natural, and pleasant to do. Another thing about the class is that sometimes there are Boston ballet dancers recovering from injuries in the class, it is very enjoyable to observe professionals in close distance.
