Ultimate Tabata
see all reviewsThis was a challenging workout. Know that the "rests" between sets are active (cardio, plyometrics, and pure strength moves), so you're moving nonstop for the full hour. I get lightheaded very easily (long covid) and it made me too woozy, but if you want an intense class this one is worth trying! Vibes are a little crossfit-y, so be warned if you don't want that

see all reviewsI’ve done Y7 for years and Chris was truly the best instructor I’ve ever had. He created a safe environment where I felt empowered to explore, and zero shame about modifying in ways that felt right for my body. This is a tough fitness ethos to find, and I really enjoyed and trusted his calm and descriptive instructions. I left having had a great workout, and a clearer mind after a challenging day.

see all reviewsI feel like I really pushed myself in this class and was proud I made it through. I had to do modifications for some of the moves I found a more challenging (I’m still working on strengthening my core so I can hold planks longer), but that’s okay! I recommend at least trying this class, even if you’re not sure if a higher intensity class is for you.

see all reviewsFolami is an awesome teacher! She’s so kind and warm, and she made an effort to build a relationship with everyone in the class. Her class was a bit faster and more high-energy than I’m used to, and some parts felt almost cardio paced - though it did slow down a lot by the second half. I also felt like she chose great exercises. Sometimes I struggle to feel an exercise in the right part of my body but today I felt like everything was hitting in all the right places. Thank you Folami!!

see all reviewsAs always, the instructors are engaging, helpful and motivating. What I would suggest be changed for this class is doing multiple sets at the stations and only one lap rather than doing one set and multiple laps. I didn’t feel the burn. Usually, I’m able to work up a good sweat during a F45 class. Not this one. One set and multiple laps may work better for a cardio class and not strength training.

see all reviewsNice long poses. The restorative yoga is great for stretching tired muscles and it’s a great way to get ready for the week. This session included more focus on upper body stretches. I was more in need of lower body stretches, but I still found immensely helpful and I got into a good meditation rhythm.

see all reviewsLong, challenging poses. There was one pose that was very challenging and could be painful on the knees and ankles if not done right. I think the class could have benefited from more modifications being offered and a little more flow than simply alternating sides. Still, I think what makes a class good is how you feel the next day. With the slow, intense focus on the hips, I felt great the next day and it helped with my running.

Everything felt intuitive and flowed seamlessly. In terms of power yoga, this class didn’t feel as strenuous as other studios i’ve been to. But I wasn’t disappointed by what was offered.
