I used to do Lagree prior to my pregnancy and I am 5 months PP and let her know that my lower core is pretty weak due to having a c section and I was worried about core work. She showed me what moves we’d be doing in class prior to starting and modifications if I needed them and really encouraged me when I felt apprehensive. It was a wonderful class I’ll be back :)

see all reviewsTough class! Would have appreciated more suggestions for modifications to tone down the intensity of exercises, not just options to make them more challenging. She did offer some less intense options toward the end when the whole class was losing steam, and I was grateful. Great workout and I will certainly be feeling it tomorrow!

see all reviewsPure Pilates is actually a Lagree studio so this workout is much more challenging and sweat-inducing than traditional Pilates. It’s also not the most beginner-friendly workout. This isn’t the fault of the studio—it’s the design of the Lagree method. The mega reformers have tons of options for modifications, but if you’re a beginner or have injuries, you have to speak up and advocate for yourself in this workout. That said, Bronte was great about helping me modify for a knee issue. The classes are small at this location, and I’ve had mostly positive experiences with the teachers here.
