In a world of standing desks and office kombucha taps, it turns out employees just want one thing: to feel well. And not just the “take a walk at lunch” kind of well...they want real, measurable, whole-person wellness.
If your company isn’t offering competitive wellness benefits in 2025, you’re losing out on talent, loyalty, and long-term employee health. Here’s what our 2025 Corporate Wellness Survey reveals about how ClassPass is shaping the future of workplace benefits.
ClassPass Improves How Employees See Their Employers
You can stock your office with the best snacks in town, but without offering meaningful wellness benefits, employees will recognize that better options exist elsewhere.
In fact, 85% of ClassPass Corporate Wellness Program users say that having ClassPass as a benefit positively influences how they perceive their employer. Additionally, 80% say they would view their company’s commitment to wellbeing more negatively if the benefit were removed. If employee retention and workplace culture are important to your organization, then prioritizing employee wellbeing is essential.

Wellbeing Isn’t a Buzzword—It’s a Measurable Outcome
When you strip away the jargon and look at the impact, the results speak for themselves: 80% of users report an improvement in their overall wellbeing thanks to the ClassPass Corporate Wellness Program. That number climbs to 89% for Gen Z, a generation who’s rewriting the rules on work-life balance. And with 62% of all users saying ClassPass is better than other benefits they’ve had, it’s clear that flexible, real-world wellness options are more valuable than ever.

Gen Z and Millennials Take Their Workouts on the Road
Today’s employees expect their benefits to move with them: 63% of Gen Z users and 60% of Millennials say they use ClassPass while traveling. Employees want benefits that offer location-agnostic access to wellness. As younger employees embrace flexible lifestyles, benefits like ClassPass that travel with them are essential to staying relevant and competitive as an employer.

Self-Care Beats Office Snacks (Sorry, Free Lunch Wednesday)
When we asked employees what they actually value in their workplace benefits, the results couldn’t be clearer: 36% ranked PTO or mental health days as their preferred benefit and 27% chose wellness benefits as their top priority. These findings point to a cultural shift—employees are redefining value at work, prioritizing life outside the office over in-office perks. By comparison, only 8% cited a free office lunch as the most valuable benefit. Commuter benefits and professional benefits stipends tied for last place, with just 7% of users listing them as their number one.
Fitness Is Personal, and Gender Preferences Prove It
We also dug into how men and women use ClassPass and a higher proportion of men predominantly use ClassPass for open gym time compared to women: 11% of men compared to just 2% of women. However, 77% of women mostly use ClassPass for studio fitness, compared to only 52% of men. These insights underscore the need for flexible, personalized wellness options that cater to a range of preferences, from solo, self-directed workouts to structured, community-driven experiences.
Wellness Programs Build Better Teams
Offering ClassPass to the workforce is proven to foster real, in-person connection. In fact, 55% of users say they’ve interacted more with coworkers through the program. Whether from attending a class together, swapping recommendations, or simply bonding over shared fitness goals, wellness programs like ClassPass are quietly strengthening team dynamics. It's a reminder that investing in health can have powerful ripple effects across culture, collaboration, and community.

Health Over Wealth (No, Really)
When diving deeper into employee wellbeing, 31% of users ranked emotional wellness as their highest priority. Physical health (26%), mental health (18%), social connection (13%) followed, with financial wellness coming in last at only 12%. It is more important than ever to ensure that the wellness benefits you offer to employees are well-rounded and cover off on the range of wellbeing that your workforce values.
