How it works

About this class

This Basics class is anchored in the development of the fundamental stretch and strength required for a physical asana practice and everyday life. Each class begins with a deep cultivation of breath awareness and mindfulness that grounds us as we move into our bodies and out of our 'monkey minds'. Connecting breath to fluid, dance like, flows and movement the sequences in this class introduce new and experienced students to poses in a playful and potentially surprising way!

Basics with Claire
The class was listed on classpass as 6-7pm but was actually 6.15-7.15, which for me meant I had to leave 10 minutes early. Second, the studio explicitly says to show up early, but the studio was locked and nobody was there until 5min before class. We were freezing cold from waiting outside and the studio was freezing cold and there was fluorescent bright lighting, the instructor was good but she played top40 music that was crap and also really distracting. Not coming back and wish I could get my 8 credits back.
