About this class

A slower paced Reformer class designed to introduce you to the correct breathing, alignment, and technique of Pilates. The class will focus on basic Pilates exercises, teaching you how to use your core muscles correctly and how to use the Pilates Reformer. Students will gain a greater sense of body awareness through exercises focused on strength, stability, flexibility, and control. While this class is intended for the beginner student, it is also an excellent option for more experienced students who would like a refresher on the fundamentals.

So far my experience at Pilates of San Diego has been wonderful and my body is loving each class. This class with Sonja Lyth was amazing! She is an excellent instructor, a wealth of knowledge and truly cares about each member. I will definitely be signing up to be a member of this studio. Thank you to all at Pilates of San Diego.

I love Chris’s creativity and find that I leave each of his classes feeling like I got a good workout yet refreshed.

the teacher was nice, by your not aloud to add extra weights to the machines. I thought Pilates was more of a workout. Good for someone who wants some light movement, or already knows what to expect from Pilates. the music was good and the place was clean and nice. I'm sticking with yoga and spin classes though.
