About this class

The Matrix Fitness System™ is a proprietary system developed by Fulcrum Fitness to plan their group workouts. With the Matrix Fitness System™ you're guaranteed to get the great benefits of an intense, varied workout without the risks associated with a fully randomized, unregulated system. All our coaches are certified personal trainers. We combine strength training and cardiovascular training with mobility and flexibility to create the perfect workout. We will coach you on proper form and technique to keep you safe and reaching your fitness goals. We have two mottos we live by. The first is Train for Life. Training so you can be better at the things you enjoy or feeling confident to try something new. The second motto is Get Fit, Have Fun, and Kick Ass. See you There! Please arrive 5 min early to get settled and warmed up.

They don’t check their roster. Nobody came in at 5am class.

Sierra was really nice as were the other participants. I hadnt worked out in a while, so the routine kicked my butt. That might not be a good measure of its difficulty for anyone whose in a good routine, but it gets 5 stars from me.

The class was good... but apparently in addition to the 5 minutes early they suggest for paperwork (which I wasnt given), you have to get there even earlier to do the warm up on your own. The class was also 60 minutes, not 45. Probably not the best class for someone brand new to HIIT because the instructor didnt give much individual instruction throughout the class. Other than that it was a pretty good workout, not too tough.

Thank You for your feed back. It is greatly appreciated. We like our members to arrive 5 min early to complete the warm. We walk all newcomers through the warmup and assess movement patterns. All our trainers are nationally certified. We are very attentive to form and will make adjustments when appropriate. All our workouts can be modified to make them easier or HARDER. It's up to you. Tell us you want it harder and well...You will get harder.

Great hiit style class. It's 60 minutes, not 45, though which is important for parking.

Thank You for your response. Yes, most of our sessions are 50-55mins. Parking is FREE and at most times there is plenty of parking to be had.

Because no one else booked - I was able to get a one on one personal training session. And have the facility all too myself! It was awesome and a really great sweat !

How to prepare

Please arrive at the studio 5 minutes prior to class to fill out any necessary paperwork. Please wear workout shoes free of mud or dirt. Also, each Fulcrum class begins with a warmup called the Fulcrum 5. Please review this link and the movements before attending to ensure smooth transition into the warmup process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPx4S7SOw5c There is also an explanation poster on wall so don't feel like you need to memorize it. When class starts, jump right in.

What is ClassPass?
