About this class

Are you ready to transition out of beginners reformer? This class is essentially the same skill level as our beginners' class. More elements will be added to make the class a bit more challenging and enjoyable. If you are not sure you are ready for Level 2, then this is the class for you! Remember, grip socks are required for all of our Pilates classes.

How to prepare

Grip socks are REQUIRED for all of their Pilates classes. We do sell Toesox at all of our studios.

How to get there

Located 1 block west of the Hillcrest sign on University Avenue, between 4th and 5th Streets. Paid surface parking lot located directly behind the studio or metered street parking available. No meters required before 10am.

Reformer 1.5 with Trish
I’ve been to a few classes at this studio, this was my first class with Trish and she had very negative energy. This class was also all over the place and not focused on one or two muscle groups like Pilates classes at this studio normally are. No flow at all.

This was my first time at Beyond Pilates but not my first Pilates class. Trisha was very rude and condescending to the beginners in the class and also at one point grabbed me by my bun to help me straighten out my posture. I felt like a burden every time she came over to correct me. Very unprofessional.

The instructor, Trisha was very rude and condescending. This is not my first time doing Pilates, but my first time taking a class at Beyond Pilates. When she came over to correct me, she made me feel embarrassed that I wasn’t as familiar with certain techniques as other students. At one point she grabbed my braid to pull my head back and up. Very unorganized and negative class. Will not return to another class hosted by Trisha.

Sammie is such a wonderful instructor. It’s definitely a class that pushes and challenges me and I can always be sure Sammie will correct and improve my form, when needed. Highly recommend!

not a lot of cueing form or anatomy, but way too much counting. Second side for exercises were always shorter than the first.

What is ClassPass?
