About this studio

Wasatch Fitness Academy is a performance-oriented strength and conditioning community of skiers, climbers, hikers, runners, cyclists and weekend warriors who put in hard work everyday to perform better in their individual pursuits. They offer classes including General Strength and Conditioning/Fit for Life, Yoga for Athletes, & Kettlebell Skills.

How to prepare

Please arrive 10 minutes early for classes. Most people train barefoot, if you'd like to wear shoes, make them minimally cushioned and devoted to use in the gym (not your everyday shoes) to help them to keep the floor clean. Storage space for members is limited; please leave large bags in your car, but of course, please bring valuables inside.

How to get there

WFA is located at 1295 Miller Ave. in SLC, near Brickyard. You can find them between 1300E and Highland, just north of 3300S. Parking is available in their lot in front, as well as the lot further to the east, and also on Miller Avenue.

Good Lord was this class tough. Very personalized and VERY effective. To all the people who say they weren’t sore after... you must have not pushed because after the circuit I did, I could barely walk for the next 2 days!!! God bless Wasatch Fitness Academy!

Good sweat, great instruction on technique & I wasnt so sore I couldnt function the next day. I only swore at the sand bags a few times, and overall had a lot of fun.

Personalized workout with kickass instruction and good tunes. They definitely create an atmosphere of learning and encourage growth both in and out of the gym.

Small groups. Focused workouts. Great strength training with kettlebells, bands, plates, battle ropes- all the fun stuff! The owner, Michael, is awesome! I wouldnt recommend these classes for beginners. I was very glad to have experience with the movements and equipment..
45m High Intensity Conditioning
Sam does a great job leading class! Wish there was a little more cardio involved since its called a high intensity class.

What is ClassPass?
