Piloxing! with Meredith
The class was fun, but the instructor doesn't have a headpiece for the class to hear her over the music.
Barre Sculpt with Theresa
Theresa is the best!
Pilates Morning Wake Up with Michele
Michele is a dancer, with a biology degree and deep training in yoga and pilates. She is so knowledgeable about bodies and movement, and also builds a sense of class community.
Barre Sculpt with Theresa
I was not a fan. Instructor was incredibly condescending from minute one. Not a lot of barre. Music just played in the background. Instructor didn't allow alterations based on body preference like other barre classes did. Want to modify with something you know? Be prepared to get comments for the next five minutes about how you're doing it wrong and how her way which clearly was hurting others in the class is the only way. I practice at a barre studio 5 days a week. This wasn't it and was a huge disappointment for my first class pass. I will not be back.
Barre Sculpt with Chelsea
Chelsea is a badass!
Pilates Mat (Beginner Level) with Laura
too many people to fit comfortably in that room
Thrive Cardio Sculpt with Meredith
The instructor was great but the class capacity MUST be reduced. People cannot move comfortably and get a full workout in without fear of hitting someone else or getting hit themselves!
Barre Sculpt (Open Level) with Colleen
Great class! Colleen is super encouraging and explains the exercises very well for beginners
Pilates Morning Wake Up with Patricia
My first time in Patricia's class. It was more of a stretch and restorative class, which was great for me, and similar to the other Pilates classes I've taken here. That must be the style of this studio. Personally, I like that and it helps balance out all of those hard workouts I do. I would certainly take her class again. We used a foam roller and my muscles feel much better after.
Pilates Mid-Day Escape with Elise
this class was much easier than I was expecting. it was a lot of streching. For a midday class I prefer the ones where they cut out some fluff and cram a hard workout into 45 minutes. studio is nice though and people were friendly.
