About this studio

Thrive Pilates offers a variety of classes for all skill levels in Pilates, barre, Piloxing, Zumba and other cardio-based classes. They focus on providing their clients with a challenging practice in a warm, welcoming studio with vibrant and dedicated community. Whatever your wellness goal is, there is definitely a class (or two) at Thrive that will help you achieve it!

How to prepare

Mats and props are provided for all classes.  Socks are optional for Pilates. For barre classes, you may purchase grippy socks (optional) or weighted gloves (optional) at the front desk. For cardio classes, please bring a towel and water - it gets hot!  Sneakers are required for Thrive Cardio Sculpt and Zumba!

How to get there

We are located on Walnut St. between 20th and 21st streets (2016), above the spa. Upon arrival, press the buzzer button that says, "YP classes." Please check in at the front desk on the 2nd floor, after which you will be directed up just one more floor to the Pilates studio If it is your first time at the studio, please arrive for class 10-15 minutes early. Upon entering the check-in area, please remove your shoes.

Good class. We used props (ball, ring). Not too challenging for beginners but helpful to have knowledge of the foundations of pilates. Modifications provided throughout.

Piloxing! with Meredith
This class was not my cup of tea. I thought the music was distractingly bad. There was not much pilates involved, even in the mat portion of the class. It was really hard to hear the instructor as well. The studio is cool and people were nice so I'll probably try a different class there but I don't recommend piloxing.

Loved the class! It was the perfect amount of intensity. Great workout that incorporates the whole body.

Julie is engaging and this class is appropriate for all levels (would suggest having some experience with Pilates though, don't take this as your first class) as she explains how to modify for your skill. Thanks Julie!
