    I’ve been going to Cyclebar for over 6 months now. I always knew that I really enjoyed the classes, but I didn’t entirely realize exactly how much I loved them until I went to two different spin studios while travelling. Cyclebar is amazing. The instructors are so good at what they do, the music is perfect, the choreo is creative and challenging, and they keep rest and breaks in mind. It’s just simply a really great place and I’m so glad to be part of the community.

    The best feeling after 45 minutes is knowing how much you’ve accomplished and how much stronger you are. I’ve taken so many spin classes at so many studios and Rachel is consistently challenging you to push past where you think your limits are but also giving your body grace- I have become such a stronger rider because of Rachel’s classes, she’s an exceptional coach.     Fun, fast-paced class to get a good sweat in! About half of the time is spent doing strength exercises with dumbbells/body weight and the other half at the punching bag. The punching bag was my favorite part! Got some pent up frustration to take out? Punch it out! Remembering the 6 different punches was a bit confusing since this was my first time and the instructions moved quickly, but I went my own pace. There are visual instructions projected on the wall for the strength exercises, so that was easy to follow. Music and our instructor, Jennifer, were energetic!

    I’ve heard of Barry’s for a long while, and finally found the courage to give it a try. It did not disappoint! It was a fast-paced, high intensity workout. I definitely got a sweat in. The music selection was great; it’s loud, and ear plugs are provided at the front desk if you’d like. The dimly lit Red Room adds to the vibe, and candidly makes me feel a bit less self-conscious that it makes me less visible to others cause while I’m trying to catch up. The exercises switch up quickly so can be confusing trying to listen for floors/strength vs treadmill instructions (the class is split into two groups switching between floor vs treadmill), especially if you’re not completely familiar with all the exercises. Keep an eye out for the instructor demos or mimic others, and go your own pace; you get out what you put in. Dan was friendly and energetic. You’ll have a great time.
