About this studio

Pure Barre is a collection of 45 and 50-minute total body workouts. At the core of our technique we use a thoughtful series of low impact, isometric movements that are designed to produce results. You'll use the ballet barre and other light equipment as you move through class, focusing on different areas of your body. Your muscles will shake. You'll get stronger with each class. And ultimately, you'll rise above who you were yesterday. Precise. Proud. Balanced. Passionate. Please be aware classes start on time and clients should arrive 15 minutes early. Doors will lock at the start of class. Socks are required.

How to prepare

1. New students must arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork, regardless of having been to other Pure Barres. 2. They cannot accommodate anyone who is more than 5 minutes late. 3. Pants, leggings/capris (no shorts, please) + socks are required. 4. Shoes and cell phones are not allowed in the studio. 5. Please let the instructor know of any injuries, if you are pregnant, or if you may need to modify exercises.

I usually love these classes! I found crystals class somewhat less challenging and her instructions not quite as clear as some of the other instructors. Overall- amazing studio, amazing place to work out!

I always think barre is a good idea until I’m in the class and remember that barre is Pilates for people who hate themselves. Also she moved way too quickly through the stretches at the end

Hannah was a little hard to follow at times (she made our position set-up instructions far more complicated + verbose than they needed to be) but she taught a super strong class especially with the plank work series at end of class, utilizing the ball. Wasn’t the biggest fan of chosen seat work moves today, more specifically the floor component, which had us on our stomachs the whole time with the tube around our ankles. Ouch. Plus there were ZERO towels left at the studio - sorry, but I actually put in the effort to sweat in this class, so it’s gross + unsanitary to be dripping on the carpet, or having to use paper towels during. Otherwise, she was attentive + a sucker for proper form which I appreciated seeing.

What is ClassPass?
