About this studio

The Pure Barre technique is low-impact, protecting your joints by avoiding any bouncing or jumping. Each strength section of the workout is followed by a stretching section in order to create long, lean muscles without bulk. The technique works to defy gravity by tapering everything in and lifting it up! Please be aware classes start on time and clients should arrive 15 minutes early. Doors will lock at the start of class. Socks are required!

How to prepare

1.New students must arrive 15 mins early to fill out paperwork, regardless of having been to other Pure Barres 2.We cannot accommodate anyone who is more than 5 mins late 3.Pants, legging or capris (no shorts) + top that covers midriff + socks required 4.Shoes & cell phones are not allowed in studio 5.Please let the instructor know of any injuries 6.Pregnant students: always consult with your doctor before beginning a new exercise routine and alert your teacher for modifications

Moves were too complicated to be a good workout
Pure Barre with Katie
Would have loved more familiar music choices instead of generic club music. And Katie’s corrections were hard to follow; she would come and just push your leg in a direction and it was h clear if your whole body was supposed to twist, or if your leg was supposed to move in that direction. She didn’t give individual verbal corrections, just moved you around awkwardly. But other than that she was a great teacher!! Fun class.

I am a barre instructor and this class just felt very rushed and not energizing or motivating. I unfortunately didnt leave feeling refreshed or challenged.

It was a good class but the music was really loud and I had trouble hearing the instructor so it was hard to follow.

Elizabeth has to be one of the best instructors! Shes tough but offers great modifications and I love that she provides hands on adjustments to ensure we are practicing in safe and optimal form

The instructor Laurie (?) was very kind and helpful since it was my first barre class. She encouraged everyone the entire time and adjusted us when necessary.

I really enjoyed my workout at pure barre. The instructor was super personal. She knew everybodys name, including mine, gave me consistent feedback so I was Getting the most out of my poses, and paced everything well so that it was challenging, but not impossible. I would definitely return.

What is ClassPass?
