About this studio

MyStryde is Boston's first running studio. They offer classes on low impact Woodway treadmills. They have two classes that are all running (Stryde and Endurance), and one class that includes both running and strength (Power Stryde). Their classes are designed for all levels, as they work on an effort scale as opposed to telling you exactly what speed to run. Imagine a spin class, but instead of biking you're running. Run faster, stronger, and smarter with their interval running workouts, plus have a great time doing it. All of their instructors are certified running coaches, and they are known for being extremely welcoming and non intimidating. How to prepare

No dirty shoes in the Tread Room. Please wear different shoes than you plan on running in and change into your running sneakers in the lobby of the studio before walking in. We enforce this strictly to protect our high end equipment, and so you aren't doing planks with dirt on the floor! You'll thank us later :)

Stryde Plus Core with Becca
This class is a great workout no matter what, I definitely recommend it! I will say this time though that it was so hard to hear the instructor. There is a big difference between sprinting for 30 seconds or 3 minutes and the audio system was so muffled it made it really difficult. Maybe they could provide cards on each treadmill with the workout written down? Also the music was okay, but that is probably just my personal preference.

Great workout. The class is divided into two groups - one running on the treadmill and the other doing HIIT on the mat. I've never sweated more in a 45 min workout!

Amanda is an awesome instructor! Super motivating and super real. I like how she explains why were doing each interval and how it will in turn help us to improve in our races on the road off the treadmill. Great coach!

Erin was great! She broke the class into 3 sections (+ dynamic mode sprints at the end) which helped the class go by quickly!

it was a good class, i just wish she gave a little more direction on some of the setting we were using on the treadmill, i was new to the class and wasn't sure how to do a couple of things and messed them up

What is ClassPass?
