About this studio

Modo Hot Yoga has been voted the "Best Yoga Studio" in Cincinnati by CityBeat Magazine in consecutive years (2016 & 2017) Modo is an accessible, community based yoga studio, which offers many different yoga classes ( Modo which is heated, Yin, Ashtanga, Hot Flow, Pre-Natal, and Kids) along with Pilates, Barre, Iron Hour (yoga w/ light weights) and other fun and challenging classes. Classes are suitable for all levels of ability. Their studio has two practice rooms - one is a hot room (heated to 100F), the other room is average temperature or can be lightly heated. After class, enjoy the filtered water station, large change rooms, spacious showers, and the provided Aveda hair and body product. They look forward to seeing you soon.

How to prepare

Please wear comfortable yoga or exercise clothes. Slightly form fitting clothes are advised so that the instructor may provide alignment cues and as needed adjustments. 
Please bring your mat, yoga/shower towel and a water bottle. Modo provides a filtered water station, so you can hydrate well before and after class. After class, all your needs will be met in our modern change rooms. The studio provides spacious showers, Aveda shampoo, conditioner and body wash for all of our guests.

As a runner, this class is just what I need to reset after my weekly long run or day after a race. Slow paced class that allows me to really sink into each pose and get the stretch I need. I come in barely able to walk and leave feeling better than ever!

Good workout, but SO crowded. They have dots drawn on the floor for you to center your mat on in order to space the room out correctly, and still made people move over to get more people in. It disrupted the entire mentality of class to have the instructor come into the quiet room a minute before beginning and tell the already full class to get up and squeeze in to make room for the other five or so people they managed to get in there. There should be a maximum class size for sake of personal space. The person next to me and I made contact at least three times because it was just too. dang. crowded.
