About this studio

Modo Hot Yoga has been voted the "Best Yoga Studio" in Cincinnati by CityBeat Magazine in consecutive years (2016 & 2017) Modo is an accessible, community based yoga studio, which offers many different yoga classes ( Modo which is heated, Yin, Ashtanga, Hot Flow, Pre-Natal, and Kids) along with Pilates, Barre, Iron Hour (yoga w/ light weights) and other fun and challenging classes. Classes are suitable for all levels of ability. Their studio has two practice rooms - one is a hot room (heated to 100F), the other room is average temperature or can be lightly heated. After class, enjoy the filtered water station, large change rooms, spacious showers, and the provided Aveda hair and body product. They look forward to seeing you soon.

How to prepare

Please wear comfortable yoga or exercise clothes. Slightly form fitting clothes are advised so that the instructor may provide alignment cues and as needed adjustments. 
Please bring your mat, yoga/shower towel and a water bottle. Modo provides a filtered water station, so you can hydrate well before and after class. After class, all your needs will be met in our modern change rooms. The studio provides spacious showers, Aveda shampoo, conditioner and body wash for all of our guests.

Hot Fusion Pilates - 60 minutes with Angie
Class was definitely challenging (in the best way)! I’m used to kickboxing and traditional gyms, but I was sore in places I’ve never been after this workout. Not only did my body feel great, but I just felt lighter in general coming out of this class after a long day! Even if this is out of your comfort zone definitely try this class!! You won’t regret it!!

Angie was very helpful. Class was both interesting and challenging. I left class feeling strong and accomplished. Also excellent playlist !!
Hot Vinyasa Barre - 60 minutes with Jana
Loved all the corrections Jana offered! Also class size was great with only 4 - a lot of personalization. Room wasn’t very hot which was fine by me, but not like other hot classes here.

different explanation but it was to the point of confusing. still a great teacher, the studio should be more cohesive in guidance.

Modo - 75 minutes with Mary
Good workout. More of a slow flow, focusing on transitions and such. The room was a little hotter than normal in my opinion, which was a lot in a 75 minute class. Loved the hands on corrections though!
