About this studio

Modo Hot Yoga has been voted the "Best Yoga Studio" in Cincinnati by CityBeat Magazine in consecutive years (2016 & 2017) Modo is an accessible, community based yoga studio, which offers many different yoga classes ( Modo which is heated, Yin, Ashtanga, Hot Flow, Pre-Natal, and Kids) along with Pilates, Barre, Iron Hour (yoga w/ light weights) and other fun and challenging classes. Classes are suitable for all levels of ability. Their studio has two practice rooms - one is a hot room (heated to 100F), the other room is average temperature or can be lightly heated. After class, enjoy the filtered water station, large change rooms, spacious showers, and the provided Aveda hair and body product. They look forward to seeing you soon.

How to prepare

Please wear comfortable yoga or exercise clothes. Slightly form fitting clothes are advised so that the instructor may provide alignment cues and as needed adjustments. 
Please bring your mat, yoga/shower towel and a water bottle. Modo provides a filtered water station, so you can hydrate well before and after class. After class, all your needs will be met in our modern change rooms. The studio provides spacious showers, Aveda shampoo, conditioner and body wash for all of our guests.

I tried this class after having attended about 7 modo classes. The instructor was wonderful, but be warned: you get HOT. The level of movement is much more than Modo, and there were several times I needed to take child's pose because I was SO hot. It took an hour for my face to lose the flush. Be prepared.

This class was extremely challenging. I would suggest it only for very advanced Yoga Students. Being a Hot Flow and 75 minutes, made it a struggle.
Hot Vinyasa Barre - 60 minutes with Kaitlin
This class is by far one of the hardest Ive ever taken but also the best. Even though Im fighting back tears through majority of the hour long workout and cant walk the next day- its completely worth it. Kaitlin always has the best playlist that powers me through and targets muscles that I seem to miss during my other barre, OTF, Pilates, spin, and yoga classes as well as ones I never knew existed.
