About this studio

You live your life with intention. Every moment you spend in the moment, aware of your goals and understanding the “reasons why,” moves you closer to achieving your dreams. It’s with that belief and the love for the sweet science of boxing, that INTENTION Boxing was founded. We've developed a boxing-centric circuit training program unlike any other. In addition to getting a great sweat, you will build confidence, develop coordination, and learn the skills endemic to the world inside the ring, with the camaraderie and fun you want in a class atmosphere. Intention addresses mind, body, and spirit. Step through the ropes to push your body to its safe limits for amazing mental and physical results!!

How to prepare

Come dressed to workout! If you have gloves and wraps, great - bring them! If you're a first-timer or don't have gloves and wraps, they've available for rent or purchase. Just come a bit early if you need wraps and gloves and/or to fill out a waiver (or do it in advance at intentionboxing.com) Please bring a water bottle - they have amazing water! Parking, lockers and yoga mats (when needed) are available for you convenience.

How to get there

Intention Boxing is located at 1868 N Vermont Ave in Los Feliz, Los Angeles. Enter the parking lot of off Franklin Ave, 1/2 block east of Vermont Ave. Gym entry is at the far end of the parking lot. http://www.intentionboxing.com

This class was so great! Got me sweating within the first 5 minutes and challenged me to push myself outside of my comfort zone. Jason was great at giving corrections so we could work on technique and getting us to burn it out! I’ll be back again for sure. 10/10!

Great class, there were only 5 including me, which was great for personalized attention. I’ve been to several boxing workouts, this was my favorite. Not the easiest certainly, but most enjoyable!

Rather disappointed! I’ve been to Intention quite a few times and have only had Paula twice as an instructor. She’s super kind and fun, but a bit disorganized as far as the class structure goes. She also picks favorites and doesn’t do anything to show newer members different moves, and just repeats “1-2” sequences without variation. Half the class spent 30 mins of the workout just hitting the bounce-back bags, which felt a bit repetitive after minute four. Very sweet instructor, but a bit more guidance and structure would be great

What is ClassPass?

ClassPass is a new kind of gym membership that grants you access to thousands of different classes at studios and gyms in your city and around the world.
