About this studio

Freestyle Fitness offers group exercise classes with an emphasis on heart rate-based functional movement training for all levels. Science and research has shown that Interval training is the most effective and efficient way to maximizing results. While utilizing their heart rate monitoring system with each participant, their Signature Freestyle Interval 40-minute small group session consists of a warm-up, High intensity interval training and a much needed cool down. They use rowing machines, trampolines and rotational body weight trainers as well as full-body functional exercises that change from day to day to ensure maximum improvements. Come join the fun!

How to prepare

Every student needs to bring or buy a heart rate monitor. The monitor must be ANT+ compatible. The studio has a limited number of Heart Rate monitors to rent for $3. Please bring a towel as well!

How to get there

Class are located in Mission Street Yoga studio. Enter through the double doors. Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign their waiver form and sync your heart rate monitor to their system or to be assigned a rental for $3. The class was hard but could have used more instruction throughout. Found myself having to watch other students to see what the next exercise was. Still a great workout though!

Scott is awesome! Super motivating and pushes you to go that extra mile. Music was great too. Definitely got sweaty in this class. Another plus is he acknowledges you by name. Some instructors don’t even bother to learn your name.

It was okay. The teacher was very helpful and attentive. I did not like the room where was the class. Kind of dark, not cozy and the fan blew directly to my head. The equipment was in a good condition.

I love HIIT training but it was the first time I went to gym that incorporated trampoline and rowing into it! Loved it. Plus, having the heart rate monitor and its results on the screen made me push myself even more. Trainer was also very friendly and supportive! Highly recommend.
