About this studio

DharmaCycle Yoga classes give you a full mind.body.soul workout every time. They teach mindfulness in their classes and only use green cleaning supplies in their studio. Their spin on hot yoga and heated vinyasa styles is smart and fresh and the hot yoga room has the most efficient heating system, awesome floors and big windows. The Dharma Family fits you with shoes and on your bike for their indoor cycling classes, you can hear the teacher and time flies during the best cardio workout of your life. All of their classes are signature to them and they make sure to welcome you and give you the best experience. If you want an intense yoga, pilates and lifting fusion class try Prime and their barre classes are always great. 236-4992

How to prepare

Arrive to class at least 5 minutes early hydrated and ready to sweat. They do not permit late arrivals or early departures. For yoga you will need a mat, towel and water, for cycling you must wear clip in shoes. They rent mats and towels for $2 each and cycling shoes for $3.

How to get there

DharmaCycle is in the North Loop located in the Fisher Box Building. Parking: 13 free parking spots behind and on the side of the building are marked. Additional parking in the lot behind Bachelor Farmer, you can pay $3 and write Dharma on your envelope. Street parking at meters is available around the studio and free from 6 pm-8 am Mon-Fri and on weekends.

Lindsay's class was amazing! She was welcoming, kind, and very energetic. Although I was new to spin, she made it very clear how to operate the bike, and what to expect from every upcoming interval. Although the workout was demanding, her power and enthusiasm encouraged me to push on. I'll definitely be back!

Not very difficult, mostly because of instructor and out of date bikes that don't track RPMs or resistance. I was disappointed.

I like the 45 min duration of the class. It is more sitting than I'm used in a spin class. The weights are good. It's not so much of a yoga class though.
