About this studio

Taught and choreographed by professional dancers, DANCEFIX is a high-energy, adult dance workout class featuring original, diverse choreography. From hip hop to jazz, from latin to lyrical, the choreography is fresh and fun for both new and experienced dancers. Each hour-long class consists of a short warmup, 10 dances that increase in cardio intensity and a toning session. Each week students learn new choreography while continuing to work on nine other dances. The mission of DANCEFIX is to create health, happiness and connection to self and community through dance. DANCEFIX students frequently participate in flash mobs and other special events to support arts, cultural and social causes in the Greater Cincinnati area.

How to prepare

Wear whatever you feel comfortable sweating in. You will want to bring a mat and water bottle. Most students wear some type of athletic sneaker and a few students prefer dancing barefoot or in a jazz shoe or dance sneaker.

How to get there

The downtown DANCEFIX classes are located at Cincinnati Ballet, 1555 Central Parkway, 45214. Enter through the front door, there will be a DANCEFIX representative signing students into class. They also have a Blue Ash location located at 9514 Kenwood Rd, 45242

Heather's choreography and energy is incredibly fun! The moves are challenging (in a good way / for a non-dancer) but having other instructors around to follow is really helpful. Each class flies by and I keep coming back!

Youll feel real for your first class because you dont know any moves that everyone else does. I suggest bringing a friend youre comfortable feeling awkward around. Once youre used to it, its fun!

What is ClassPass?
