About this studio

Crazy Monkey Defense Malaysia has been providing the CMD Boxing programs since 2003 in Bangsar. Focused on effective self preservation, positive mental and personal mastery as its primary goals, CMD Boxing serves as a proven method to prepare yourself for the stresses of daily life in your personal as well as your professional responsibilities. Other group classes include self-defense focused Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, FizFit Bodyweight conditioning and our precision ketttlebell strength training. Personal training (one to one) is available at the gym. Try out any of their program offerings to start your Day One. *Parking* Please note that parking is reserved for gym members. ClassPass visitors are guests.

How to prepare

Wear comfortable exercise clothing. They will provide you with one free CMD Rank shirt. If you want extra, they are available from the studio. You will need your own personal training gear like Boxing Gloves, mouth guards, Jiu Jitsu uniforms, belts, knee pads and training shorts for fit and hygiene reasons. We also provide loaner boxing gloves (free) and rental jiu jitsu uniforms (RM15/use)

The Crazy Monkey Defense Studio is located at 9, Jalan Riong, Bangsar, 59100 Kuala Lumpur. Please note that parking space is limited and is reserved for gym members only. ClassPass users are guests and will need to park street side off premise.

I enjoyed the class and gave me a good idea on how to use kettle bell properly. The typical weight for males is 18kg. If you have never done it before I'd suggest using a lower weight.

What is ClassPass?

ClassPass is a new kind of gym membership that grants you access to thousands of different classes at studios and gyms in your city and around the world.
