NOTE: For Boston Location - the Pilates Studio is located at 840 Summer Street on 2nd floor. BeatBarre/Core/Buti Yoga classes are located at the Barre studio at 844 Summer Street on the street level.

Worst class Ive ever been to. Didnt sweat, machine wasnt explained. No music the entire time. 2 people walked out.

Gave it two only because I did sweat. The instructor didnt seem like she knew how to teach barre. It seemed more like a 90s arobics class which wouldve been fine if thats how it was advertised

This really was not a barre class- more of an 80s aerobics class where none of the choreography was coordinated beforehand

Always a favorite. Carolyn is very knowledgeable. I swear she can modify anything for anyone. Just when I think I know Pilates, she comes up with yet another thing Ive never seen before.

Didnt like punching series.. lots of glutes with minimal thighs.

Nice studio and good instructor, corrected my form multiple times which was very helpful! I just did not find the class to be very challenging, didnt break a single sweat. I was hoping for a bit more core work as well. Good if you are looking for a calming way to work some muscles but not an intense workout.

Couldn't see the instructor 99% of the class. She told us to avoid the back corner of the class but we would have seen what everyone else was doing at least. I saw the wall at the front of the class & she instructed behind me, very hard to know what was happening

The work out was great, but the instructor was rude. When I said I didn't have experience using reforme pilates machine she told me I should have taken private classes first and that I wouldn't "get much" out of the class. I left unsure if I did well, or not. Felt like I was sneaking in to a private club, so unwelcoming.

Good class. Didnt offer much assistance with form so I wasnt sure if I was doing some exercises correctly.
