About this studio

International dance and fitness studio Bolly Dancing is Singapore's specialist in beginners Bollywood dance & Zumba Fitness classes. After success in Mumbai, where they established their Bolly Dancing Studio in 1992, they decided to reach out to absolute beginners in Singapore in 2008 with specialist classes for all ages, fitness levels and dance experience. Their aim was to introduce the most authentic Bollywood Dance to Singapore through easy-to-follow, and fun fusion dance classes that were modern and totally different from anything else.

How to prepare

Wear something that you feel comfortable in. You can join in with bare feet for Bollywood Dance classes. For Zumba classes training shoes or dance shoes are recommended.

Workout is awesome as always. Class is oversubscribed though. The studio should consider increasing the number of classes cos’ Cheryl is really good!

It was fun. Though abit fast pace. If one does not have basic aerobic dance experience it might be too fast. I am glad to catch up abit and able to enjoy the steps. Would advise anyone new to this to do proper stretching and warmup before the class as it is quite intense with lots of jumping and steps. Love the enegizing music! And instructor gave very good instructions too. I had a good Yoga class before coming for this so the impact of jumping did not hurt my knees and ankles.
