Aerial Glow in the Dark (New Class) with Krystal
First time doing a silk class. Didn’t realize how sore we would be! Hanging on the silks with your full body weight is not comfortable at all... don’t let the name deceive you. It was just me, my friend (also never had taken a silk class), and two other girls who had experience. The instructor definitely helped us one-on-one to our level. It was fun, but I don’t think I’ll be doing it again. I hear aerial yoga would be better/more comfy. Maybe will try that.
Beginners Aerial Hammock with Rubi
It was actually Yolanda teaching the class, not Ruby, but the class was a ton of fun. Started out with warm ups that worked your legs, core, and shoulders and then moved on to the hammock. I really appreciated her helping me make some modifications to be able to actually get up on the hammock since it was my first time. I'll definitely be going back!
Beginners Flying Yoga (AFY Room) with Grace
Even though the gym was ver cool, the teacher lacked training and skill to help her students. I wish the class was way more planned and flowy. This was not the reflection of a yoga class, even less one of a aerial yoga one.
Beginners Aerial Silks with Simon
Great and challenging class. But, it definitely wasn’t a beginners class.
Beginners Flying Yoga (AFY Room) with Sara
Sara K. is such a cool and down to earth instructor! Really enjoyed her energy, her clear instructions, and patience when I was figuring out how to coordinate myself. Haha The relaxing child’s pose, fish and in-air criss cross were my favorites. Looking forward to taking more of her classes in the future!
Beginner Aerial Arts with Yolanda
Yolanda was so great! She was really attentive to me since I was a first-timer, but didn’t sacrifice attention to the other students either. A great workout too, my arms were so sore the next couple days
Lyra with Yazzmin
Fun class but I wish they worked on the basics a little more too. It's obvious they have a number of very experienced people there which is great to see! But in beginning it means you can't always participate with everything and hope for more beginner training (I didn't see a "beginner lyra" option?). That said I'll definitely go back.
Lyra with Yazzmin
Teacher was helpful & nice
Aerial Hammock (14+) with Sara
AMAZING!!!! A must-try for anyone interested; the instructors are wonderful with newbies and seasoned veterans
Beginners Aerial Silks with Simon
This studio is really nice and up to date and the coach was really nice and friendly. The only down side is doing a class with experienced flyers, as the focus has to be spread out amongst all levels - the up side to this is that, as a beginner, you get more time to practice the basic techniques. It was my first time doing this class and it is definitely a challenge and out of my comfort zone. I would try it again.
