see all reviewsADORED this class and the instructor!! She pushed me to limits I didn’t know I have. An issue I am having though is the organization of the weights. It’s happened a couple of times that I grab a 15 and 20 pound weight, and only realize it in the middle of a workout because the room is so dark and the smaller weights are all over the place in that inconvenient space. Please consider re-arranging that space.

see all reviewsClaude brings such a fun energy to this class! It’s no joke, but left me feeling sore in a good way the next day. Not too much high impact jumping, but more like faster paced pilates with light weight work. You’ll definitely sweat but not be out of breath.

Alex was such a great instructor- she kept the energy up and gave great cues throughout the class. Reminded me of Bianca on the Alo app if anyone is familiar!

see all reviewsThis class was great the instructor demonstrated everything including some modifications making it very easy to follow, I would recommend this class to anyone tired of the fast hit vocal ques that can be sometimes confusing for new people, this class is also great for non newbies as well, you’re totally in control of how challenging you make each rep for yourself.

see all reviewsShe is the best instructor I've taken with at Kala. I have had yoga with a few others as well and they were wonderful! Allysa is like a calming drill sergeant. I believe it's because she is really present with her students and can sense when they need that extra, "you're stronger than you think" or "it's okay to choose lower weights if you need that right now". She remembers everyone's name. She notices the small things like if you are trying to knit your lower rib cage together while not even being cued. I mean teachers talk about this a lot in cues but do they really see when you are doing it on your own? It's subtle. I think her years as a professional dancer have helped shape the teacher she is now. The class she designed has an amazing playlist and the short circuits are perfectly tailored so you don't get burnt out by too long of reps in one area. This class is part of why I joined class pass and I hope it stays.
