    Strength and Sculpt + Recovery

    Very challenging, but a good burn. Really good, hands-on teacher. Sadly, I think the movements overall are too awkward for me to twist into without tweaking all my sensitive spots (i.e. delicate wrists, chronic sore back). And it’s not form - the instructor was awesome at coming to correct mine! it’s just that being in the correct form was painful in a bad way for me. I do want to stress that it’s not the instructor’s fault at all, I just don’t think this is quite the workout for my specific body! I would say this is p beginner friendly and there were modifications offered too. The facilities are nice and the ice cold towel after is amazing. Parking is also easy.

    Beginners Barboza

    This is a beginners class, but if you are a beginner to exercise, this is not the class for you. This is a fabulous class in that you will learn, get a crazy intense workout, and your posture will be better after one session. This is also one of those classes that feels 75% impossible. If you try anyway, your body will thank you. But it’s so hard that no one would blame you for wanting to give up either. The music is really intense for kind of the vibe of the movements - would you consider playing something…less battle music worthy? Stefanie is, of course, an excellent instructor. Her teachers are great, but she’s unmatched! I’ve taken many many Classpass classes and Barboza is truly the hardest so far. I’m a weak noodle though - so ymmv!
