see all reviewsTukeha brought incredible energy, friendliness, and technique to the class. my partner had not worked out for a year+ and got absolutely destroyed but she walked both of us through everything. DTLA fitness is clean, and Tukeha fosters a great community vibe. would definitely return!

see all reviewsI loved lightness of this class, lightness as in light hearted, in contrast to rehearsed yoga meditation, especially for a Saturday morning. It made the class feel like a community during class. The space is beautiful, I almost want to live there. I enjoyed that there were no mirrors, I feel like i focused inward more and stayed present. #BIPOC.. yes please!! I'm definitely coming again.

see all reviewsNice low-key class with abdominal exercises and also explanations of body placement that can translate to other yoga classes well. Helpful to learn how it looks/ feels different when shoulders are open or not. Calm start to the day with some learning and exercise.

see all reviewsClass description is pretty accurate. let me write from a first time yoga going person: get there on time and get a spot closer to the instructor so you can see what's happening. I thought there weren't gonna be much people cuz I went to the Sat 8:30am class, but the room was almost full. Also it is dark inside so unless the person next to u knows what's up (thank you neighbor who I shadowed from beginning to end) you might get lost from just hearing the instructions. that has nothing on the yoga place itself but that this class is more geared for those with some prior yoga knowledge. But I think the flows that you are fair and at ur pace so that part is beginner friendly. However, I do find this class good to try out as a beginner. As mentioned it's dark, so I was less self conscious and went at my own pace. I like the idea of heat yoga cuz you really sweat and it made my skin feel great - like a sauna. Plus, there was a dog in the front that day yay 🐕

see all reviewsWonderful pacing of the class and attention to detail. Asked about injuries, offered props for comfort and hands on corrections. Music could have been a little more upbeat and motivating but that’s just a personal preference.
