see all reviewsThe substitute teacher was great. I particularly liked that she advised on form bcos one of the problems with bodypump is often bad form or injury because we are working to tempo. And because i am still recovering from injury i liked that she emphasized reps & form over blindly loading on weights. I also liked her soundtrack (esp you will be saved) , Why are ppl forgetting bodypump is also all abt the music?!

see all reviewsJayne is a lovely instructor - firm, somewhat no-nonsense style yet gentle and generous with guiding the students into the correct postures. Her demonstrations of some slightly more complex poses (from a beginner's perspective) were clear, and she took pains to go step by step for the benefit of the newbies. It could be that the class was really small that day (only 4 attendees), but Jayne allocated personal attention to each one of us to ensure we were in the correct postures. Wonderful stretch on its own, elevated further with the inversion poses!

see all reviewsLesley is now amongst my Top 3 favourite YM instructors the other 2 being Rey and Amy. That's saying a lot coz I have tried dozens of classes under different teachers, and these 3 stand out for good reasons. Lesley's Power Class was nicely paced with a good variety of asanas from basic warrior poses to arm balances and inversions. Easier and harder options are made available and she makes sure to demo every pose complete with clear and precise cuing. I personally would like a bit more faster-paced flow sequences mixed in but I did enjoy the calming and grounding quality of Lesley's class.
