About this studio

Contours Express is an international fitness gym franchise that is designed exclusively for women. They understand that women have specific needs, and their mission is to offer fitness programs that meet those needs to women everywhere, regardless of age and background. At Contours Express you'll find a fitness routine meant especially for you, customized coaching and progress tracking, express convenient workouts, and a friendly and supportive environment for you to work out in.

How to prepare

Please wear comfortable active wear and well supported athletic shoes. If you are attending for the first time, please arrive 15 minutes (for Circuit Training/Gym Time) or 5 minutes (classes) before your reservation slot so our fitness trainer can conduct a fitness analysis for you before the workout. For Circuit Training/Gym Time, Trainer will then customize the workout according to your fitness level and personal goals. Circuit Training/Gym Time is a structured guided workout session.

How to get there

Contours Express Serangoon is located at 253 Serangoon Central Dr, #02-227. (From Serangoon MRT station enter NEX, walk pass Food Republic and exit glass door next to Old Chang Kee. Walk across the outdoor carpark until you see a small kids' playground. Our gym is on the second floor of the block in front of the kids' playground)

It was alright. I like how the staff will customise your workout according to your stamina so that’s great. But it was hard to find the gym.

basically a 30 minute workout where you use machines and follow the screen for cardio. the i instructor will be there to assist if necessary
Cardio Combat
Definitely cardio intensive. Receptionist and other members are friendly and welcoming. My main gripes are with: 1) The studio was waaaay too small, it was a small partitioned-off room within their hdb sized gym. It seems like they alrdy have a lot of regulars (non classpass) members in the session, they rly shldnt have allowed additional ppl in. Even for the current number of regulars, without me as a classpass member, the room was way too small. I had to do my workout outside of the partitioned room without any mirrors, and was very very near the gym equipments, sliding door, other ppl. Other members got accidentally hit each other also. 2) Instructor was fine, but i think she was a bit scary in her tone. Maybe if you like that kind of style when you are working out that is fine, but it didnt really feel encouraging to me. Showers (w soap & shampoo), lockers, hairdryer & water dispenser available. Heating for the showers need to be switched on from the outside. Decent facilities.
