I’ve been avoiding going to Barry’s because I typically hate running, but they managed to make cardio more fun for me! Loved the instructor - his instructions were clear, easy to follow, and his energy was great. Loved the variety of music between trap and the Pussycat Dolls! The facility was immaculate, and I enjoyed having a nice place to take a shower afterwards. (Also loved the juice bar after class for a post-class protein smoothie!) I’d definitely try Barry’s again :)

see all reviewsI had been to this studio under previous ownership and I don't care for the front section of the space so I was relieved this class was in the larger back area of the studio. The person at the front desk was welcoming, Denis immediately introduced himself, and another instructor who was using the space before we got started also introduced himself. The 2 dogs milling around the studio didn't seem to care about me one way or another but I tried not to take it personally. ;) Denis was a great instructor. He knew everyone's name, gave consistent positive feedback, and helped everyone with their form. It was a challenging class but I left feeling accomplished because of the positive environment.

Carlos structured the class to accommodate all fitness levels and challenge multiple parts of the body at one time for a true full body workout. He was not only extremely knowledgeable, but conveyed a genuine care and passion for his profession and students. If you’re anywhere close to this studio his class is a must! If I could give it 100 stars I would; great job Carlos!

A little awkward to find your way and get started as a new person to the studio and/or CrossFit but instructor did a great job within the set up they have of helping keep things going and was very friendly. Even if youre familiar with lifting, I would still suggest their intro classe/s as crossfit is just logistically different and has its own flow. Will definitely look into coming back!

The locker room is pretty nice, but the class space is a little awkward since when you walk down the stairs youre basically inside it. Denice was super nice and our class only had three students. We did mat Pilates using balls as props. I had not done Pilates in a long time and this class made me remember why I love it. Its fun and relaxing and all those small movements count. The hour flew by! The one big drawback was the music - it was Muzak type music of mostly pop hits, although they did throw in the Game or Thrones theme in there too. It was annoying enough that I even would have preferred no music, and Im big on music during workouts. It sounded like we were in an elevator for a whole hour. Music aside, great class and Ill be back!

see all reviewsThey’ve changed the class. It used to be run by Aleks, but now they’ve combined it with the normal CrossFit class and pushed it 30 mins earlier. Attendance has dwindled. I miss Aleks but thankfully the gym owner who runs the combined class is still great. I’ve only done one of the new format classes so far, so don’t take my opinion as gospel yet, but so far, it’s still a rockin class! Bootcamp-style weightlifting class with lots of cardio.

see all reviewsI liked it. I'd give it a 7-8/10 in terms of physical intensity. It was a small group (7 people) and I liked that a lot, and felt pretty welcoming and friendly. Then we proceeded to do groups of 4 sets of exercises - alternating between two exercises, 4 sets each, then do another set of 4-4, and ending with some core. I got pretty sweaty and definitely feel all the lunges and squats we did (I like that they have a stronger emphasis than most on those). Very nice facilities, bathroom was nice and they have a shower. The space is a little cramped but given the exercises we did it was fine. Overall had a fun experience getting a good workout.
