What stands up is, there are never “pause-stop-restart” or static moments during the entire flow: the connection between each posture is a truly continuous vinyasa. Regarding the challenge level, I could tell that it is more like a junior “Yoga Hot/Power” or a senior “Slow Flow”. But that is exactly what my husband and I love it the most: not to easy or too hard, a perfect combo of breathing, stretching and the room for self-challenge:)

They offer a variety of amenities to maintain cleanliness and comfort. You can definitely tell it is woman owed and operated and I absolutely love it! It was my first time using a Pilates machine (I think it’s called a Reformer), and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Nicolina. She didn’t lead like a drill sergeant which tbh was what I was expecting. So I was very relieved when she turned out to be friendly and helpfu!! To get to the cheer class, you walk down toward the green turf and you’ll see doors on the far right to the room where class is held. I saw a bunch of people getting lost. Women’s locker room is downstairs. Anyway, this class is definitely a challenge. You work up a sweat with all the cardio. It’s quite fun and Keiko is a very upbeat teacher. It’s follow-along style, so if you wanted a guided lesson with techniques explained, this is not the class for you. I am a fast learner so I enjoyed it

I was immediately greeted as soon as I walked through the door and was given a quick tour and shown to my locker (which had my name and a personal welcome message!) Sometimes the combos can be tricky, but it is never overwhelming and it is really gratifying to feel like I am improving. The small class size is a plus and the instructor isn't afraid to call out your technique if you are doing something wrong. Definitely recommend especially if you want to get better at kickboxing and Muay Thai!

In the Intro class, he walked through the punches, kicks, and knees in depth and taught us how to position ourselves. I have done some cardio kickboxing classes before but this class really helped me understand the fundamentals much better. I definitely recommend this for beginners! In terms of stuff to bring, I recommend bringing your own gloves and hand wraps if you have them. They will provide gloves if you don't have them though.
