I’ve probably been doing Pilates for a dozen years now, and seldom have I seen a class highlighting this little-used apparatus. I attended and learned so much. First, I appreciated Lolly’s careful safety cueing. Now that I’ve hit 50 years old, I certainly don’t need a preventable accident sidelining me for a week. But Lolly excels not just at cueing around safety, but at cueing in all aspects! I found her instructions easy to follow. The exercises I learned on the Stability Chair opened up my hips more than normal. I walked out of class feeling great!

She also was really good at breaking down the move so everyone could follow and it felt like her class was organized in a way so that each of the moves preceded each other in a logical fashion. So refreshing to see a teacher, educating with confidence and getting straight to the point. She’d given us corrections on from, knowledge on what muscles to initiate from and which muscles we were working & modifications for those who needed to ease up a bit! She gave the class a comfortability in knowing she was guiding us the correct way! Class is always tough if you’re doing it right - SO many moments that I got the shakes in tunde’s class. see all reviewsThis class was wonderful! Anjula took the time to demonstrate, explain, and correct forms. She is very friendly, observant, and knowledgeable and she checked how everyone felt about the class at the end. It felt very personalized but not targeted. The studio itself is very cute! I felt that the exercises were perfectly sequenced and paced to work your body well but not overdo it in one section back to back. She directed proper pilates breathing which I haven’t gotten other places but is SO important! The equipment is well maintained. The class size is small which I liked. It was great for beginners and paced patiently but not lingering. I will definitely come back and take Anjula’s class again!!
